There is not a manager i feel we could get i'd rather have than Poch. Out of people we couldn't get.... erm, Guardiola?
Matic's case is different though, because Serbia got bombed for being genocidal and committing crimes against humanity. Wait, that's not better, is it?
The poppy Nazis (like all the other PC Nazis) do their causes no favours. Displaying intolerance and hatred towards someone who doesn't observe their PC rules by threatening and abusing them is the kind of fascism the soldiers they want commemorating lost their lives fighting against. But it's not about that for them, is it? It's an excuse to celebrate their extreme right wing views, by hijacking a cause and symbol for their own ends.
Since it's usually the Daily Mail on the frontline of the annual poppy crusade, especially with their annual "This local authority BANNED POPPIES" story that's complete bollocks (just like the annual and equally bollocks "This local authority BANNED CHRISTMAS FOR WINTERVAL/YULEFEST" story), it's nothing to do with PC and everything to do with a combination of toxic nationalism and the British Legion being happy to profit from it On that subject, has anyone had a campaign of gaslighting from their local British Legion this year? In my neck of the woods there's been plastic poppies the size of a small dinner plate fixed to every lamppost for a good mile or so along a stretch of road - and they haven't been put there in the last couple of weeks, they've been there since at least August.
Fulham really are falling apart and looking totally bereft of confidence. Sessegnon is a shadow of the player from last season and you hope his struggles this year doesn't cause permanent damage.
They brought in too many players and made too many changes. Only four of tonight's team played there last season.
Buying lots of foreign players at once, who have no experience of English football is a massive risk. Newcastle did it and got themselves relegated. It doesn't seem to matter that some of the players are good ones, if there are too many all at once.
Monaco: Making West Ham's ground look suitable for football and full: Attendance: 8,347. Huddersfield v Fulham? 17,082.
The FA are going to appeal against a decision of the Independent Regulatory Commission in not charging Jose Mourinho with swearing at a television camera man... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46121751 That's not how added time works with United, boys. They get it to overturn unfavourable results in added time, not the other way round. I'm sure that they'll encourage action with similar gusto in relation to the slightly more important issue of Citeh's flagrant abuse of FFP..........?
