Would be for most. I could be wrong, maybe being in the ESL would see clubs do fans a favour and lower prices due to the money they'll be raking in from deals but I'd highly doubt it. Ultimately I think the ESL is for the rich and the rich only.
50% owned by 3 Clubs !!! That already make it an uneven competition from day one !! The Spanish will win it 8 times out of 10 and the lure will fade!! Let the greedy self serving ****ers piss off!!
Yep. If there’s no relegation and nothing to qualify for by finishing in a certain position then it becomes pointless for any club who can’t win it. Doubt it’ll happen.
I'd be interested to know why the FA are really against it, along with any suggestion that the government would be too. I just feel this is more to do with the share of revenue than anything else. This bolloxs about 'threaten the culture' dosen't convince me in the slightest. The Prem clubs have never given a shhite about culture nor the government come to that. It's been purely about finances since 1992.
You can't reach that conclusion without any real evidence. I think you're the type of bloke who would find an issue with the FA no matter which way they swayed with this. Why wouldn't the English Football Association be against their top league breaking up with the so called 'best' teams leaving? **** all to do with money and money alone, youre a typical lower league fan who knows his team will never hit the heights of English football so you cry arse about motives all the time.
It's everything to do about money and what they can glean for such a union. For Christs sake those jokers were up to sell our national home.
You do your own club a dis service if you think the only reason the FA is against losing at least 5 of its most celebrated clubs in the land to a Super League is because of money and money alone. I'm not saying money doesn't play a part in decision making but to suggest that is the only reason is laughable. The game has a strong heritage within these shores.
Go on then, i will play for a little while...when lower league baits a so called Premiership supporter, i know i'm holding the winner pants. Which is one ****ty more trophy than Spurs are likely to hold in the next decade
Plus even if it is just for money...why would anyone begrudge the FA for fighting tooth and nail to hold onto the 5 clubs that bring the biggest collective plastic following to the PL?
1 post and I have you tapping into your passive aggressive habits....you don't like losing on here Prick
