    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds came from behind at the DW Stadium yesterday to soar back to top of the Championship thanks to goals from Hernandez and Roofe in front of almost 5000 Leeds fans.

In fact Leeds were only behind for three minutes when Klitch teed up our Spanish maestro to draw level.

Should Peacock Farrell have done better against Bolton's opener?

Did the Leeds fall do its job?

Bielsa was asked whether the number of injuries Leeds have been suffering is down to his training regime.

The Argentine said muscle injuries would indicate that, but most of the injuries Leeds have suffered haven't been of that nature.

Essentially, doesn't feel he is pushing the players too hard.

BUT, does Bielsa's training schedule make the players more susceptible to injury?

It was Alioski's turn again to be the latest target of the Elland Road boo boys!

Whilst the Macedonian didn't set the World alight, does he deserve the criticism?

Once again, Leeds dominated the stats with 67% possession, yet they only scored twice, and won by the narrowest of margins!

Do Leeds need to invest in another top striker in the January transfer window?

Saying that, Leeds have the best goal difference in the division by some way!!!

    Evening All,

Does Ells spell check have a "Klitch" or is it "fall' going to coming to nothing ?

I haven't seen the match yet so can't comment about their goal, all I will say is it's a shame we give away so many "convert-able" fouls.

In the run to Christmas is would be great if we could start opening up a points gap, only for my sanity that is, I'm sure you understand.

    Morning all <ok>

Firstly the boo boys know fk all about football and although we all get frustrated at times with certain players, none of us knows anything like as much as Bielsa who sees his players and asks them to do certain things. Alioski I could kick up the arse but we know we dont have a world class player we have a very good player who can produce magic at times and run into brick wall cul-de-sacs sometimes. However stats dont lie and Alioski is by far the most creative player in the league when you look at chances created. In other words he creates more chances for his team mates than anyone else and creates for himself too. About time some of us just watched and let them get on with it, me included.

    Top of the league

This time last season we had 23 points and the wheels had come off with only 1 win in 6 games with 5 lost on the bounce. We were on 23 points due to a great start, so 7 points behind where we are this season. So think we can say that the wheels are well and truly still on in a very tight league. <applause><applause>

Morning all. Would any of us welcome criticism at work for making a mistake when other people were involved?. I am delighted that we have a team playing great football which we know will improve with time. Jeering individual players will not improve him or the team. We have a coach who is more than capable of improving players and the team.

Re BPF/wall. Keepers can’t cover the whole goal. Generally if a guy gets a free kick over the wall and in a corner you say well done. Which is what he did. It wasn’t an Exocet, but perfectly placed. Bof very nearly got to it, so you always ask yourself could he have done better.

On the other hand bpf is responsible for lining the wall up and choosing his starting position. You could hear him screaming at it repeatedly before the kick was taken... was he happy with it in the end? Dunno. It doesn’t help that we only have dwarves to put in a wall and jfh’s point that taller guys should be on the outside makes sense.

Think the injuries thing has been done to death!

Alioski was ok yesterday. Works hard, finds space, links play, gets in good positions... all things essential to bielsa ball. Final ball is erratic and doesn’t have the ability to beat a man. Is he frustrating to watch? Yep. Is he my favourite player? No. Does he try his best and is he doing what us asked/expected by his coach? Yes. So does he deserve stick? No. And even if he did, it’s unnecessary and counter productive.

Do we need another striker? It’s not so much missing chances as not creating clear cut ones.. trying to walk the ball in in tight spaces. That said would someone with a bit more pace than Roofe to stretch defences, give more opportunities to score... likewise more of a target man? It’s something they need to work out.

I think with a bit more experience Edmonson will prove to be a real centre forward.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Yes we need a CB and a striker I wish we could have got Marriot but Derby offered 18k a week goodness knows what the rest of the team get and Villa are paying 80k a week for one of their loanees
I fear for the WBA manager he seems a decent man but results are going against him and if he losses against us next Sat it will mean they are 8 points adrift and he will probably be cast aside
Matt we didn't fall I think you mean wall and we played Wigan not Bolton!
I suggest we need a CB who can act as a full back as well I'm sure the Doc will have someone in mind
How long before we release the beast Edmundson he has everything in my mind

    Morning all...

Watching it and the replays of the game on Sky I’d say BPF could (not should) have done better, his starting position was too far over but JFH in the studio disagreed with the others, he blamed the wall and questioned why we had our two smallest players on the end of it but picking up on what Doc and ELM have said, was it BPF fault or the guy who gave away the free kick?

All players are going to make mistakes, someone said Phillips gave the ball away with some stray passes, I can tell you now from what I saw, he gave as few away as Klich, Forshaw and Hernandez but for some reason he is still picked out.

We would miss him immensely this season if he were not playing, we pass the ball so quickly, snappy and with great movement things are going to occasionally go wrong but Bielsa has installed a confidence in the players to do this and a desire to get back when it goes wrong. It’s how we play and mistakes will happen, Alioski did okay for me, I don’t understand the boo boys.

Gotta be honest, seen very little of edmundson but hope you guys are right. I felt we needed a more direct winger... for games/situations where we need to run sides rather than triangle round them...but am hoping Clarke can do that job. He looks a player.

It was me who mentioned Philips. So to clarify, I wasn’t picking him out, I thought he did well... it was in response to another of ‘64’s ‘Philips for England’ posts! I just didn’t think he was MoM yesterday.

I would also say that in his position he is facing the play generally, and has less excuse for misplacing short passes than guys often receiving the ball back to goal like foreshaw and klich.

Philips has done great this season

Morning all, I watched the game later yesterday evening. I have been guilty of mentally blaming Alioski as gets caught off-side so many times. However when contemplating his replacement I have been a little wary. His workrate off the ball and to help the left side is outstanding. His commitment to challenge headers etc against bigger opponents too is great. So from our squad I would have him one of the first on the team sheet.

I thought Dallas is settling into the role at right back. with Pontus/cooper now a great pairing and phillips sitting in the midfield (along with foreshaw being deeper than Saiz) it gives licence for the fullbacks to push on, this suits Dallas to drive forward. With that in mind I can see us switching Saiz for any midfielder should we need to add more attacking verve.

Interested to see if we continue with a couple of the loanee's at Christmas, not sure if we should look for higher class proper signings to challenge instead of Baker/Harrison? Would much rather have another solid forward/winger on a permanent signing instead of the guys sitting on bench and leaving at the end of the season.

    Morning all.

A 2-1 win doesnt tell the whole story in my opinion. A one goal lead is normally precarious and as described above- a narrow victory. I do not see it like that personally. Although we only scored one more than them we controlled the game so well that I do not think we were ever in danger of losing.
The effort put in by all and was excellent, the way the pack chased back to stop Windass on the break was an amazing moment.

Anybody else think Roofes goal is contender for goal of the month? He took it so well as soon as he struck it I knew it was going in.

Nothing personal we all look for different things in a player and we all notice mistakes from our least favourite. I panic every time Cooper and Dallas have the ball, I’m just waiting for them to give it away. They could pull off 49 consecutive passes but if the 50th goes astray I’d be all over it ;)

Seems we are not the only ones with injuries WBA have Dwight Gayle injured Kieran Gibbs Gareth Barry and Chris Brunt outwhether any of these will be fit for next Sat we will have to see.
Rodriguez is taking a lot of stick along with Kyle Bartley and Oliver Burke came on as sub and did nothing I think the lad needs a new club to flourish

I agree, give me 2-1 and that performance over any 4-0 and the style of football we were playing last season.

Lots keep saying we’re going to really tonk someone soon and I have to agree.

Morning all....good win yesterday, another 3 points in the bag, more importantly, we looked to be back somewhere near our early season performance level.
We keep saying that someone is going to get a good tonking but we do need to start converting our possession superiority into goals.
