Pleased he has been exonerated and recompensed. Always liked him as a DJ and it's an absolute on-going farce that people are assumed and named as being guilty before any actual evidence is heard.

Personally I detest just about every DJ there has ever been. Full of **** and utterly banal.

However, I had a lot of time for him and my personal favourite Annie Nightingale, who had a fantastically alluring voice.

I have a childhood memory of Paul Gambaccini, no not that sort of memory.
I recall the two men who worked in the chip shop referring two him as "bent as a nine-bob note"*. Always think of that when I hear his name.

*I am not condoning homophobia.

 

I seem to recall he had a fling with Limahl from Kajagoogoo. Very bizarre....
