Just saw a tweet from someone who sent a message to Burnsey to say that he is a steward and has been told to expect larger crowds than normal for the Forest game. I don't know whether true or not but sounds promising if it is true.
It’ll play havoc with your half time pint. I hope they employ an appropriate number of pint pulling staff.
Probably because Forest always have large numbers of fans at away games. That said I have a gut feeling we will be sold (or at least be told a deal to sell the club has been agreed ) by the 21st November. No rumours, inside knowledge, taxi driver said.... just purely a strange feeling about the sale. (And I don't believe in seeing the future rubbish. ...)
A worker at the club (Vicky Beercock) said just one week ago that the club is negotiating with numerous potential buyers. Nothing will be sorted by the Forest game. FACT
VB was just trotting out the party line, she probably doesn't know exactly what is going on. It may or may not get done in time for Forest game, I just purely quoted what someone on twitter was saying to RH. We just have to wait and see.
Central to this change of mood is the takeover that The Yorkshire Post understands could be concluded as early as the end of this month. Three bidders have been in discussions with the Allam family, but the Saudi consortium fronted by former chairman Paul Duffen is leading the way. Work still has to be done before a buyout can be completed, with a report last week suggesting the Allams had already said their goodbyes to staff at the KCOM being wide of the mark. Nevertheless, sources insist the original timetable for the Allams to be out well before what would be their eighth anniversary of taking charge on December 16 remains the target. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...ng-as-hull-city-add-another-victory-1-9428011
I heard Assam ordered a Chinese takeaway on Friday night and he only does this when a major deal has gone through, my dad was told by a mate of the guy in the petrol station who sold petrol to the delivery driver for the takeaway so crack on with the celebrations
