yeah, Hughes pet rabbit who he constantly keeps trying to shove into everyone face because he's the cutest rabbit there ever was .
Gabbiadini, Austin, Elyounoussi, Armstrong, Carrillo. That is a **** ton of money spent on attackers who are not even on the pitch today. We can get into whether maybe some of these players should be playing or doing better whatever. Maybe they suck, maybe it’s Hughes, maybe they are starved for chances. All I’m saying is, if you want to know where we went wrong, it’s the piss-poor return we have gotten from spending on those attackers.
By the way, what with our players not being on this forum and thus having a bit of backbone, they seem to be trying to score another goal. That will leave the back a little open so it might well lead to another Man C goal. That should not necessarily be cause for another meltdown. Vin
Oh jeeze, come on Prowsie. I'm more forgiving towards him because he's one of our Youth products but he has been pretty poor with his deliveries and misplaced passes.
What do you base your first comment on please? Our squad is so unbalanced. We cant score, we cant defend. We are neither quick or physically large and strong. Our signings for the last three seasons have been a complete cock up.
Nothing wrong with recruitment. Three very good players you've named there. Just haven't adapted to the Saints style of play which is built around 'surviving'. The bigger clubs have European coaches that change their whole style of play to adapt and accommodate to the quality players coming in. We either go down that route or we stick with home grown players.
They might bring out some of their classic players for the lols now. May as well. Shipperley warming up for us.
