I keep seeing five city players spread out across the width of the pitch, between our midfield and defence (I use that word loosely). At least one of our midfielders needs to drop back to fill the gaps created by players going to the player on the ball.
Every time my stream plays, after constantly buffering, it's revealed City have scored another. A hellish loop.
Don’t really give a ****e about this match - actually quite happy for city to gain a 2 point lead on scoucers. What’s more important is our general play, attitude, work rate for future games. Looking at last week & first 15 here, I hope there are 3 Swansea’s in this league. And before anyone say, I don’t mean us.
The neutral will be loving this. Great football from City, and Saints getting thrashed. We've replaced Sunderland and Villa as that established PL side who are now just wasting one of the 20 PL spots - and the quicker they can get relegated and be replaced with younger, fresher, more confident, blood, the better for the neutral.
It really doesn't matter who is managing this poor squad of players. They are not in the same league as City, this is an expensive Championship squad fumbling about
