There's been loads of battles between sunderland and chelsea in the old days. But in the main, it was fisticuffs and a pint. No long lasting dislike.

I only went to Roker once, was v Wigan.

I was knobbing a bird from Seaham I'd met on holiday and the match killed time when she was at work.

I used to enjoy Elland Rd when Leeds were half decent. Had a proper feisty atmosphere. Genuine hatred.

I don't think it's always like that, just for us most probably.

As they seethed with unconstrained envy.

    Hell of a shag too.

I was only eighteen and led by my dick. Seemed definitely worth it.

Atmos at those games noisiest I have experienced in England. Think a couple of games at West Ham, Wall, Newcastle and Leeds got close.

Fans go on about atmos at Anfield for CL semi final in 05, but ROker PArk 85 different level.

    Still hurting I see.

The atmosphere was excellent unless of course you were a losing Chav in the Anny Rd end.:emoticon-0100-smile
