Unfortunately though when he's in the team isn't properly balanced against the bigger teams. When he's playing you basically have 4 forwards on, which is hard to imagine being a successful tactic at places like the Emirates.
It was said a couple of days ago Hendo wouldn't be available, no idea on Lovren. Fabinho starts ......reminds me a little of Vieira
Today's the real test for fabinho. If I'm right he needs to be very careful where he gets to on the pitch, if he's not goal side he's going to not be able get back.
Yup, really like him too. Really strong player and covers ground quickly with his long stride, always seems to manage to get a foot on the ball as well, like a good DM should be doing.
The good thing is xhaka is even slower. If he plays left back I can't see too many issues wide for us.
That's good reading of the game from good position. I never said he wasn't good at that. has done nothing I have not been expecting him to do so far. there was one incident last game where he was absolutely ran past in a foot race. as long as he's good good postion and doesn't drift on and get caught he's ok. don't expect him to be chasing back off a set piece etc cos he won't be there before whatever happens happens. so as long as he reads game well and game is in front of him he will do well... which is what I said originally.
