Got to feel for Mclean, the guys not scored as many as we would have liked I know, but he gives 100% whenever he's on the pitch.
Could he be used on the right of midfield to make way for Waghorn??
Or is it a straight swap, with Mclean sitting on the bench?

Brady can play on the left or the right.
Mclean could play either I would think.

Mclean a good impact sub I think but agreed will be unlucky if left out. I can't see how they can not play Waghorn and the kid is in great from, scoring for the u-21's and probably getting another run-out v Israel next week.

The only worry I have is that between now and January Waghorn does well here and then gets snapped up by another club if Leicester put a price on him thats too much for us.
Good for us until Jan then if he is signed by someone else were back to square one again.
Or could we have agreed a fee already??? Probably not as we would have signed him on a perm now.

if its true, fryatt and waghorn are similar, he may throw a surprise and play mclean/waghorn together, and drop fryatt to the bench as a wake up call..

I like McLean too, but there's no hiding the truth; he aint good enough and no matter whether he gives 100, 150 or 500% that fact will remain.

Brady should be on the left regardless imo, if he beats a man he still needs to cut inside. I'm sure I've seen Waggy on the right, maybe that would be an option with Fryatt and McLean up top?

    Leicester fan in peace.

From a Leicester fans point of view I think if Waggy scores lots of goals for you guys he will be coming back in January and will end up as a squad player!

i wouldn't have a cairney cos he can't tackle. Koren is not a right winger put wghorn there. You have waghorn, cairney in central midfield. That doesn't make sense to me. If cairney is the play maker then fryatt should be in front of him. we shouldn't play 4-5-1!!!!

If anything I think we need to bring in a right winger on loan for 2 months or so until Cam is completely ready. With Garcia and Cam out we really no-one left to play there in their preferred position. Either Koren doesn't get to play in the centre or a striker has to go out wide instead..

We do have flexible attacking players who can slot in to cover as and when the game needs it.
4-4-1-1 Can become 4-2-4 very quickly with the squad we have.

    Basso

    Rosey Chester Hobbs Daws/Dudgeon
    Waghorn McKenna Cairney Brady
    Koren
    Fryatt

    or

    Basso
    Rosey Chester Hobbs Daws/Dudgeon
    McKenna
    Cairney
    Waghorn Koren Fryatt Brady

A playmaker doesn't have to be the guy who makes the final ball. Cairney is the type of playmaker that starts up attacks. Waghorn would be up top along Fryatt but will drop deeper alot.

Waghorn isn't a right winger either.

There is nothing wrong with 4-5-1 providing it's done right, it's people like you who go to watch city that make our football club ****. No football knowledge, just want 4-4-2 hoof it into the box.
