It's down to their ownership, unless you are cynically suggesting that they don't actually own it ? <laugh>

Have a few more drinks then. I'll send the tab to the Americans as part of my fee fro representing them here.

We were mid table and fighting to stay there, but I am certain we could have stayed up a few more seasons if the Club had been managed correctly. The current owners have openly admitted they have made major mistakes, but you are right, the previous Board made some atrocious decisions, the sacking of Laudrup being one of them.

Who amongst us hasn't made major mistakes? I know I have. I'm still paying for them.

It takes a brave person to admit to their mistakes, and the Owners should be commended for that.

The second half of the Swans' 7 year stay in the P.L. was a disaster. Appalling management, bad decisions, etc., and the writing was on the wall. Relegation was only a matter of time. The new owners have to deal with everything, and a little understanding wouldn't go amiss. The new young guns are doing alright, far better than I, and many others, expected. A play off place is not beyond the team. Not that I want a return to the appalling P.L., but many do.

It’s happened under their ownership. The performance of the team is down to Potter, his staff and players.

A little understanding wouldn't have gone amiss from the current owners who, I'm fairly certain. are still at loggerheads with the Supporters Trust. Come January 31st we'll all have a better understanding of the intentions of the current owners. As for the Premiership, if we returned in our current condition we'd be having a weekly mauling.

As the Owners, they are under no obligation to understand anything. They can do what they want, when they want. That is something the average fan has a great deal of trouble assimilating. They won't get any peace until they realise that, learn to live with it, or take their custom elsewhere.

The Swans' have had their 15 minutes in the spotlight, so I think the P.L. is best left to Club's that are more suited/capable of making a fist of it. The cost is just too high. Other opinions are, of course, available, and equally valid.

We had Michael Laudrup as Manager. What more do people want ? <laugh>

Cardiff have, what's his name, Warnock. <laugh><laugh>

The Americans never Sacked Laudcrap <laugh>.....Laudcrap got himself sacked for being crap and failing to attend meetings when summoned to talk about our poor form heading towards relegation.......A club cant run like that ffs, They had to rightly sack the muppet who thought he was too good and should be managing a big club..<laugh> Yeah right.......

You can't just ignore the owners. The performance of the entire Club is down to them, since they pay the wages. When the team struggles they carry the can. When the team thrives, it is therefore reasonable for them to have some credit.
If I were the owners, reading this forum over the last god knows how many months, I would close the Club down.

The ONLY question you need to ask/answer is - WHO ACTUALLY OWNS SWANSEA CITY FC ?

Nothing else matters a twopenny fig. The Owners OWN, and supporters support. It was ever thus, and it ain't gonna change. <laugh>

I see you no longer insist that " Laudrup relegated The Swans' ", then ? <laugh>

No supporters , no Club , no owners ,that's not too hard to work out is it <laugh> so whether you like it or not we're all intrinsically linked

What I " like, or not ", is of no consequence. Oh, and I don't wish to be " intrinsically linked " with anyone on this, or any other, forum. <laugh>

Let’s judge them at the end of the season.

At this point, the relatively high position may have been achieved despite the owners, not because of them.

Let’s see where we are after 46 league games.

The Owners are already being " judged ", on this forum, every day of the week.

The "relatively high position " has been achieved by a team OWNED by the Owners. There's no escape from that fact.

Of course, the final reckoning will take place after the 46 games you refer to.

There are some oracles who regularly post here, and we are indeed blessed with their insight. They already KNOW what the Owners are going to do In January. I wish I knew what these guys are on, so I could KNOW what the end of the season is going to bring. <laugh>

"When the team struggles they carry the can. When the team thrives, it is therefore reasonable for them to have some credit" - That is exactly what is happening. As paying customers we are voicing our opinions, which is perfectly reasonable. You seem to struggle with that concept.
