Sheffield Wednesday are unbeaten in their last eight home league matches against Norwich (W6 D2) since losing 5-0 in December 2001. Norwich have lost both of their last two Championship matches at Hillsborough by the same score - 5-1. Sheffield Wednesday could lose four consecutive Championship matches under Jos Luhukay for a second time - they also did so in March. Norwich City are the only team yet to have an English scorer in the Championship this season. Only Norwich's Moritz Leitner (855) has completed more passes than Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan (787) in the Championship this season. Norwich have won more Championship points across the last 10 matches (23 - W7 D2 L1) than any other side in the division
I hope Tod Cantwell or Maximilian Aarons break this stat, I wouldn't actually care if we didn't have a single Englishman score over the entire season if it means we go up though. Norwich City are the only team yet to have an English scorer in the Championship this season
Lewis fit to start, Vrancic in for Stiepermann. Otherwise as expected. Odusina and Payne (?) Make the bench
Been hibernating DD??? From today's EDP MDT - 'Jamal Lewis (hamstring) is a major injury doubt. Todd Cantwell (hamstring) and Ivo Pinto (back) are definitely ruled out. Marco Stiepermann (tonsillitis) will travel but Daniel Farke is poised to make a late decision on the German.'
They both started in the U23s thrashing from Fulham earlier this week but most of the boys were actually under 20 years old. Timi Odusina is a centre back that turned 19 last week. Alfie Payne is a midfielder and also just turned 19 he is the current U23 captain
Odusina has been a regular starter with the U23s for some time. Payne is their captain, but I don't know much about his play. Their inclusion may be due to the homegrown players rule.
We dont get many penalties, so missing two in successive games seems such a waste. Farke must sort this out very soon, but we dont have a Dorrans who was very reliable.
