Good afternoon from a wet and windy Glen Nevis... makes for spectacular waterfalls if not spectacular panoramic views.
Just planing April trip to Mallaig, Skye, Inverness and Perth. You're making me wish it wasn't 6months away Anyway hopefully by then our Champion's League place will be secure Have a wee dram for all us 'orns and enjoy that fresh air. C'mon u'orns
Well done Dave. Top of the table and you delivered on my dream request. Next year Canaries at the Vic.
Morning all. Looks like a warmer day ahead, so hopefully I will enjoy my time in the fresh air. There have been a few cranes passing overhead as they make their way south to overwinter in Spain, Portugal or North Africa. No sign of a mass migration as yet when you can see several hundred of them above you. They do sometimes come down in the fields around us to rest overnight, and then you can see just how large they are. Have a good day whatever you intended to do.
Afternoon y'all. Back from a jolly jaunt to the good old US of A. It was better than expected although the exchange rate screwed us a bit. Probably won't go back for a while so glad we made the most of it.
Next week I will be on my travels again, this time heading north. I would rather not be going, but needs must. I will not be able to put up a Match Thread, so hope that someone will provide something.
Morning all from a warm and sunny rural France. Plenty of things to get done before my travels, and I overslept which has put me behind rather. My neighbour never goes away as he prefers to potter around these days, although at one time he put me to shame with the amount of work he crammed into a day. He is up at 5.00 am winter and summer, often preparing fresh vegetables for the freezers. Come the winter him and his wife could survive for weeks on end with what they have in store.
Move completed (takes deep breath) in time to see finish of London Brighton Veteran Car Rally with grandkids. Some wonderful old vehicles, hampers of champagne, and top hats and false moustaches! A great afternoon. Internet sorted today, one telly working but every room likely to remain full of boxes for a few weeks yet!
I trust that you are still near to The Rose Bowl. I have boxes still unopened after ten years. Shows how much seems important at one moment, but isn't really.
About 70 minutes' drive, Frenchie, but I'll still go regularly. Sod's Law applies to the boxes...however well labelled they are the first ones you open always contain the things you need least!
Good evening all from Argyll & Bute. Intermittent Internet. Had a fantastic time up here and look forward to coming back here in a couple of years time during the summer.
