You aren’t any more or less likely to win versus a human with a real roulette wheel. However the longer you play the less likely you are to be up with either.

Sorry buddy but you are wrong ... or at least partly correct ... your last bit is correct about the longer you play.

However, when you play roulette in a casino the outcome should be completely random. The machines are not (unless they have changed) ... if you look at the info behind the roulette game on a fixed terminal machine you will see that the outcome of each spin is governed by a "random number generator" or something with a similar terminology - however if you read the small print you will see that "random number generator" is a bit of a misnomer - it doesn't have to be 'completely random' only random within specified parameters - by this mechanism the house doesn't lose overall - the profit each month from the nationwide machines is always the same .... that can't happen in a casino.

Books have been written about supposed winning roulette systems. Which just goes to show why bookies and casino owners - real or online - never go broke, while punters, in the long run, nearly always do.

Over any prolonged period of time, the house always wins because it sets the odds. That’s every bit as true for a casino as a machine.

The machines are in essence similar to traditional fruit machines and the pay out is set at a percentage of the takings. As you say this isn’t possible in a live casino.

Talks of Cameron making a comeback.
Surely after the Referendum fiasco there is no back for him?

    Mugs game.

On the rare occasions I go to a casino I play only blackjack.

All my other ‘gambles’ are calculated ones.

He did but he's a coward. I believe if you take a job of position such as he had then you see it though. I believe he was the best person to take us forward, he could have made it work for both sides of the debate. But he chose to do a runner instead, i can't forgive him for that.

  15. Fair comment. I don't think it would have worked because he would have spent all his time justifying having the referendum in the first place rather than being able to pull people together and move on. A clean break was essential I think - though the choice of predecessor is open to debate.....

I still laugh about it now that the donut gave us a vote <laugh>

I openly admit i always thought there was no return from an EU State in my lifetime, but he went and blew his own foot off! I thought the Romans had been and conquered, suddenly up pops Cameron and makes my day in Clint Eastwood movie style.

I agree, but a common moan seems to be that May is dragging her heels and a Leaver would’ve done a better job.
