Bowyer reports today that Lewis Page is out for another six weeks - shouldn’t laugh really, but fvck me, what it is with the injuries at this club ?? The failure to sign cover at left back this summer is now looking even more foolish by the day. Who else thinks that we won’t see another serial crock - Bauer - back this side of Xmas ? Bowyer reports that Lyle Taylor is also a doubt for the Donny game as well - thank God we have got a rugged & powerful ready made replacement for him in Igor.
Igor and Page are both examples of what happens when you knowingly play a player who is carrying an injury. In Page's case Bowyer has to accept responsibility, it was his decision, he was public about it at the time.
Reeves is another example. Never known a club like this for injuries ? They never seem to be 1/2 week jobs, either. A sure sign of the cost cutting that’s been going on behind the scenes, IMO.
Lewis Page was played into the ground. Vetokele is proving (if proof were needed) that he hasn't got it anymore even in the 3rd division and Naby Sarr isn't far behind him. As for Nicky Ajose ... what a waste of a shirt number. Ben Reeves - a joke of a player compared to what he apparently used to be. Mark Marshall - never showed more than a couple of glimpses of what made him POTY at Bradford, now frozen out. Mediocrity is smothering this Club worse than at any time since... well since ever in fact. Even the early 1970's weren't as bad as this were they?

Gutted. I normally come back at this time of year for the WTM at the Excel, and manouevre my flights to include Charlton. This year we're short staffed at work so the visit is a real 'flyer'. I arrive tomorrow and fly bacl wednesday morning, so no Valley for me. Curses
Yep. Just bought a ticket. After Roland's latest interview it is clear he is completely bonkers. No protest or boycott affects him, he is in his own bizarre world. I won't go as far as buying a S/T , a program, a h/t drink or any merchandise, but will go if I'm free for any games. Strangely enough I expect a win today from our injury-hit squad.

My Brother has come over from Valencia and so we have decided to go to Charlton. He hasn't been since Duchatelet took over. I think he will notice a big difference.
