Yeah some things transcend your job, and a tragic death is one of them.
By all accounts, your owner was a decent guy who did a lot for Leicester, not just the Club and its players/managers, but the city of Leicester too.

He made the mistake of having a go at one of them on camera, the rest of the media were never going to let that lie. I wouldn't say all journo's are scum, though, ';d say a fair few of the tabloid press are.

Plenty of managers have done that.
And despite the spin other journo's may put on it, to "back" their fellow journo up, we can all see and hear what happened if its on camera.
What made this different is that the question, whilst maybe not 100% pertinent or genuine, wasn't completely ridiculous.
He could have just sited the article he was talking about, instead he went on about Ostriches for about 10 minutes, in a rant that made absolutely no sense whatsoever <laugh>

Yeah a lot of them just fish for a story. As for Dan Roan of the BBC and his comments about Vichai whilst at the memorial. Absolute waste of space. Then again BBC Leicester’s Ian stringer who has notoriously got stick from many of our fans (and was a regular victim of Pearson) has outdone himself with his coverage

Police confirmed they had no drones flying at the time. BT Sport stated they had no drones at the game.

Not discounting that Tobes....... I thought bird strike..... Geese, Swans ?
    Then thought Drone ?
Finally came to conclusion, **** speculation, let the experts at Farnborough get to the bottom of it ?
Just don’t want any “ inconclusive “ especially with same black box/flight recorded tech used on planes !

I doubt the theory is dead. There is still every probability a drone was in the area in my view. It was an enthusiast that nearly brought down a US Military helicopter in 2017 - He thought it had ditch in the sea and went home. Until the Feds came knocking, part of it was embedded in the side of the craft. They have serial numbers or some identification and through the manufactures they were some how able to trace it back to the owner.

I think the bird theory was given as a cause from the beginning, possible migrating birds...but that video changed the outlook slightly due to the size and reflection of the deflected object, hence counteracting the bird theory.

But hey something we all agree just speculation.

Honestly...I think it was great what he did for Leicester, and i've given my sincere thoughts on the Leicester board out of respect. BUT (Leicester Chairman aside)...i'm not very good with this stuff, and i don't even believe in participating in the constant respects paid at many a football ground these days before matches. IMHO it's all got a bit silly.

Some homeless guy could die on the streets tonight and probably will, and no one will give a shhite, but wealthy people in footballer including players seem to have a strange following of admirers.

But hey funny world we live in.

Me too. I remember when Wilkins died, minutes applause at our place, i refused to participate, we've just become a bunch of clones that seem to have our moral priorities all wrong.
