A couple that I have backed already. I don't know why but I've been drawn too OSCAR ROSE at Wetherby. I think because he's had a recent run which was won by 17 lengths and going against a few inferior horses although they may need their runs today. At Ayr I quite like the look of Lucinda Russell's pair ORIONINVERNESS and FOREST DES AIGLES. She actually had a winning double the other day - I only know that because my friend at work said he had backed some double he saw on sky bet from the women on sky sports I said o dear! That will never win and it did!

All last season when I was down at Fergals they kept banging the drum about how good OSCAR ROSE was. Right up there with Colins Sister. She never franked that confidence on the racecourse but she finally came good first time up this season. Fergal even managed to mention her on ATR when being interviewed about another runner altogether. If they are right about her she will be up there with the best mares this season.
I fancy her with black carton and shantou rock. Didn’t fob have a nice double yesterday? His horses have been running well, think they could go on a nice little run now.

Going to echo what Karlos says..proper racing is back! Just a shame the field for the Charlie Hall is depleted but will still be interesting... With the ground as quick as it is and fact Bryony Frost has struck up a great relationship with the horse plus horse is definitely open to improvement I am backing Black Corton 7/4 in the Charlie Hall. In the Condexo Gold cup at Ascot I am taking a chance on Too Many Diamonds 18/1 each way. Has been running well over the summer and I think will improve for the step up in trip. Ground to horses likeing.. Just two bets today the rest a watching brief.
Two for me in the Sodexo at ascot. Play the ace, was prolific last year started well and kings lad, missed this veteran last time out. Think he’s well handicapped.
