Hi everyone. Firstly a great big thank you to everyone on here. You all argue the hell out of each but you're all still a cracking bunch of lads! So I survived yesterday's operation. It was a tad messy though. It's going to mean big changes in the short term for me, but hopefully in the long term I should learn to adapt to everything that has happened. Which was quite a bit in the end. They not only removed my stomach but also my spleen and 2/3rds of my pancreas. I didnt even know the latter was even possible. Being fed through a tube for 4-5 days before climbing out of the high chair for big boy food! I should be able to eat a christmas dinner in about 7 or 8 weeks. Anyway, bit knackered now so gonna crash out for a while. Cheers everyone! BH
Best wishes mate, I hope the recovery goes well. Make sure you get plenty of rest. Fosse will post a couple of his stories everyday, that should help you sleep.
Get your heed down, pump another load of morphine into your arm and sleep, has to be that way for 2/3 days.. That's the way to do it, get your money for nothing and your chics for free..
Nobody is gonna read all that mate, keep it shorter next time please. Op went well, having soup, sore arse, see you soon. See... it can be done. Glad you’re ok mate, hope the recovery goes well.
