Bless him and all, but he's right. We're going to ****ing smash them, laying waste to their title campaign. You heard it here first.
I imagine most will be saying a, though it could be attitude rather than scoreline that affects peoples thinking for this one.
I expect us to lose against City (whilst knowing that nothing is impossible and being pissed off that everyone else gets nice surprises apart from us)….so it won't make me feel any more despair. we need to start winning winnable matches.
I don't think Sparky will be that adventurous. If we could set up a (smallish) black hole behind the City end, the ball may be drawn towards their goal, even if Shane aims for the corner flag. There may be some issues with this, like recovering the ball after the first goal, changing ends at half time, and being unable to escape the gravitational field, but at least we won't lose.
So I make that if we play City 13 times, we'll score one goal against them. Good thing that we potentially play them three times over the next two months. Just ten other times to play them needed.
De Bruyne definitely out Sunday. Just Aguero, Sane, Mahrez, Jesus, and (their best player in my book) David Silva to worry about. He kind of went unnoticed last season due to De Bruyne but Silva really is a superb player. Quite looking forward to watching him in a way.
