I agree. When they said disintegrated, I meant from the point of an object hitting the craft. I did think maybe a large bird but i think your explanation is far more plausible that it could have been a drone, particularly the type of you have mentioned due to the location.

If it does turn out to have been caused by a drone, i can see a whole load of new legislation coming out controlling their usage. Wasn't someone like Amazon trialling the use of drones for parcel deliveries!?

Private helicopters will and should surely take priority in air space, and to think something such as a drone could have brought the craft down is quite concerning.

We will probably be both completely wrong and considering the time of year, it was probably caused by a stray witch out on their broomstick. HiaG to confirm.

Someone told me yesterday it was a police drone that flew into the back propeller, causing it to crash.

No idea how true that is, but from the video it looks like something definitely flew into it.

If the theory is correct then the operators of the drone know it was the cause......as they’ll have known both where they were flying it and that it disappeared, not to mention the camera footage. There’ll be an absolute ****storm if that’s how it pans out.

Drone legislation is surely already overdue, as I agree they’re a danger, primarily to light aircraft and helicopters due to the height at which they fly, but I doubt a drone would do much good for a jet engine on a commercial plane either, so anywhere near a flight path into or out of an airport is also a massive concern.

Absolutely agree. Reports stated that police denied it was a police drone, but only the operators of any such object will know the truth and they will need to be able to account for themselves and any drones used during match day. Of course even though the police deny it, i've not seen any denial from any broadcasters covering the game and until we do, it will leave it open to a possible cause. Of course this is all speculation but that's what we do and as you say drone legislation is well overdue.

I thought along those lines when I first saw it, but decided that thing on the video is something catching the light much closer to the camera, like a drop of water blowing from the roof of the stand, and whatever it was would have had to have landed in the statidum after catching the light, there's also another, longer version of this video with even more of them in it, nowhere near the copter and moving in directions that would be impossoble to have come from the helicopter.
Not heard of any reports of drone wreckage being found either, and bits of that would've just dropped out of the sky.

I thought it was so funny albeit awkward. Ostrich gate as it will always be known! I can’t remember what it was but the journo asked something really stupid and why shouldn’t he be told so

He was crazed, what he said made no sense.
And then there is the time a Leicester player tackled an opposition player by the touch line, and the player fell into Pearson, who was standing on the touchline, and barged him slightly, and Pearson grabbed him by the throat like a twat, like it wasn't accidental.

Pearson was a piece of ****, and I wouldnt be surprised to find out he has beat **** out of his wife or murdered her, one day.
You can see in his eyes, that man is not a nice person.

exactly, it wasnt a stupid question at all.
Pearson mentioned an article that in the media that slated his team and the journo asked what article he was referring to.
I mean, there are probably a thousand articles written about Leicester FC every time they play a game, the journo just wanted to know what piece he was referring to, presumably so he could read it and get some background in to what pearson was complaining about.
I'd have told Pearson to **** off.

He was a nut job and some of the things he did were mad. Regarding your last paragraph though, it was those who knew him well like the players who said what a great person he was and how he was a father figure to them. He certainly wasn’t good in public but without knowing the guy, what I’ve heard from those who do is that he was actually a very nice guy. He and Vichai created the close culture that has been around the club for many years now.
It has been really nice to see Pearson, Ranieri and Shakespeare all go to the KP and pay respects btw, shows how although all the guys were sacked at one point or another, they all respected him
