You said £40m and now you're changing to £80m after I pointed out the lower amount would be pocket change to a top PL side. Make you're mind up eh...?
Think you'll find i said 40m extra is still decent. I mentioned what some other bloke said but at the end of the day 40m is still a fabinho or a punt on a player like salah. One of those extra per year can make all the difference as you boys know
It's a 35m pound signing with a 100k a week wages signing (so what salah was) for the year. But presumably you'd have ditched someone from your squad for that signing so in reality wages are cheaper.
Just wait till the Jaguars owner comes back in with an improved bid for Wembley. Won't be long before there is a franchise team based here and then the games abroad will stop.
New main stand and development around Anfield is complete. Started construction on the new joint training facilities. Just be patient, they will announce Anfield Road next
I think they will too but they should experience the thrill of those views foe themselves too. the next fan group.meeting should be held there.
£35m doesn't get you a Salah now though. I admit it looks good using him and his price tag for your example but since transfer fees went through the roof, £35m gets you a decent 'hope he turns out alright' kind of player who, depending on the team signing him, may or may not start every week.
Great job that Klopp prefers not to spend big and develop players. FSG willl be making it faster than they can spend.
worked for gomez, taa, Robertson... but slight flaw.in your argument alisson vvd fabinho Keita salah mane firmino I seem to recall most all of the above were considered "overpriced" at the time. all proved bargains by the genius of klopp
And i forgot to add wijnaldum who we were told we were idiots to buy for 25 mil roo. oh and ox Chamberlain. in fact I'm still struggling to find a bad klopp buy or the killing fsg are making on liverpool
Exactly. 1 of those every year 35m punts on a risky bit of talent is a massive advantage as far as i am concerned. This is EXTRA revenue yeah on top of what you'd normally get in your standard transfer window. Where Levy has probably gone wrong is that for whatever reason, he's overblown the budget, pissed off his best manager and probably not taking advantage of what is possibly their best team and manager in a long time by spending absolutely nothing as success will generate that revenue too
