We got from debating the hierarchy meeting with supporters to debating your nipples in 40 messages.

    Nice one

If we need to change it for commercial reasons then I like the idea of modernising the old badge - take a leaf out of City's book:

Although personally, I really like the current badge. It's what I grew up with, being a 90s kid.

Aye, something like this looks decent. Not sure about all the blue though... What's the reason for that? I know it was in our old badge as well so, does anyone know if there's a historical reason for it?

Probably going a step too far but would anyone be adverse to blue shorts if we do go down this sort of route?! Always thought Atletico's kit looked class.

Absolutely - we've always been red white and black at home - red and white shirts, black shorts. as long as my Dad can remember. No way should we ever have Blue shorts as a first choice.

I hate that "squashed" badge sprouts put up too - but just an opinion!! I do like the old badge and the new badge. If we get another one I'll have to find somewhere to get it tattooed!!

I've done a couple of half marathons and I run a couple of times a week. It's never bothered me in the slightest.

Ah = apologies - I have some major issues when running. Have resorted at times to taping up my nipples!! At the end of a half marathon last year there was blood running down my top from them both! You obviously have less prominent ones than me!! :)

That sounds nasty!! To be honest, I always thought runner's nipple was an urban legend. I've never actually met anyone who suffered from it!

No cos Atletico have blue shorts for a very specific reason. They were originally an offshoot of Athletic Bilbao but became the team of the Spanish Air Force under Franco and adopted the blue of the air force uniform.

I'm sure that I've read somewhere that the clubs original colours were red white and blue and officially still are, I wait to be shot down!!

I thought it was because the sky and sea are blue.

You're right. Originally all navy blue. Red and white halved shirts were then introduced with navy blue shorts.

Come on lads let's keep it on topic.

Maybe it's the shape or length of the nipple that causes chafing. Running technique and temperature could play a part too.

Is it to do with the erectness of the nipples during running?! :emoticon-0107-sweat

I believe it could be, maybe if Marcus wasn't as turned on he wouldn't have to strap his nips down.

I don't know if it's just me, but the only thing that I've derived for this hierarchy meeting is the fact that Marcus is a pervert :emoticon-0136-giggl

Cause it's cheaper and we're a league one club with tight overheads. Teams with much more clout are cost cutting this way. We shouldn't ignore new techniques which save money imo

So because we're in League One, the club should be selling the fans a cheaper product? Sounds like something Ellis Short would do.
And anyway, what clubs? Most replica shirts have woven or embroidered badges
