I'm getting a warm glow from the Sunderland fans faces as they look confused after winning a game.

Not a nibble at all; it was a facking big chomp, mate! And it was delicious!! :) Thing is, winning and feeling good about the club trumps everything else ATM. Bliss...

Explains your apparent lack of confusion then...?

Well, for me personally, whats happened at Sunderland (thus far) is the best thing thats happened in years. I dont have the passion for football anymore, I dont even say a 'get in' when Sunderland score anymore, but my interest has perked up ever since we finally seem to have an owner, a manager and a squad who seem to know what they are doing and seem to be trying (thus far). For any SAFC supporters who still have the passion they must be totally ecstatic (thus far). The future looks alot more optimistic us sitting alot more financially secure on the beach that is the Turd division than it ever did hanging out of the sharks mouth that is the Premier League (thus far).

And then once Big Bad Don has us challenging for Premier League status a rich Arab will give him an attractive offer, take over and turn us into the next Man City <laugh>.
Seriously though, unless something like that happens I'd be in no rush for getting back into the Premier League. Clubs like us, it just chews them up and spits them out. Whats the point in gambling with the very existence of your club trying to keep up with everybody else in that league. If we did get promoted to the Prem with Donald still as chairman I would hope that he doesnt splash the cash. Piss away millions on wages on average players who couldnt give a ****? Whats the point? Just save any money generated (including parachute payments) for the next promotion push. Just have the club ticking over nicely, dipping its toe in the Premier League occasionally. That should be the plan for the foreseeable future.

Have to admit i’m Quite envious. I really enjoyed it in the championship and have said many times I’d take winning in that league over losing regularly in the prem.

To be honest, wouldn't it be great to have both teams consistently in the top league and competing instead of all this yo-yo ****? As long as we came out on top, of course! <whistle>

Exactly - my dad always said he had no issues with the mackems being runners up in the Prem - as long as we were top.

Two strong teams and a proper rivalry is great for region

Have a read of the above. The Mackems are beelin away that a mag helped their seat replacements.

One even said he doesn’t want his seat if she has fitted it.

That’s no way to treat someone doing charitable things in the community.
