Fingers crossed it's all but done! I still won't believe it until we see the new owners on the pitch and the breaking news bar on sky sports saying hull city afc sold
Burnsey quote at 18:30 ...'By the end of November....' I assume he means the club will be sold by the end of next month... Sadly I've heard it all before and nowt happened.
Just seen on FB a mate posted "just been told that the allams have been to cott today to say their fair walls before an announcement soon......fingers crossed" no reason not to think it's true following Saturdays alleged farewell's at the Kcom.
They said goodbye to us all in programme notes around 24hours ago (or 19104 hours, depending on which timescale you follow). Two ****s acting ****ish, equally, as always.
It's been over 2 years since we had those Chinese folk garbed in City club shop items watching from the Directors Box as City crushed champions Leicester with a massively depleted squad on the first day of the 2016/7 season and Polo Guy penned his exit speech in the programme. One of our all time greatest wins that day and light at the end of the tunnel as the Allams seemed to be selling. More than 2 years later, millions drained out of the club, most of the assets sold, fanbase slashed and the handbrake on, as the club has stalled for the last 4 years. The footballing equivalent of cockroaches I suppose- very very difficult to kill off.
From Mondays meeting. VB stated that as the Vice-Chairman has mentioned in a recent press interview, the Club is currently going through a sale process and are working towards having this completed by Christmas. the sale is currently in a due diligence process and this procedure does take a lot of time. So this makes it hard to state a fixed expectation date for a sale to be completed. KH adds that a lot of information has been passed on in this process and this again will take time to sift through for the ‘buyers’ VB answered that there are numerous bidders in talks with the Football Club. Not happening any time soon.
It'll be done by the end of the month I think. There's no requirement for it to drag on anymore than it has to, that wouldn't suit any party. VB is not going to give any idea as to how far along the process is, that was always going to be a given. She said 'by Christmas'. Not 'on Christmas', anyway. That's only 9 weeks even if she was being precise.
Nothing and I mean nothing surprises me any more about the goings-on at HCAFC...……….. I'm predicting here, right now, (31/10/18 at 20:41) that should it ever go ahead, the crowd at the first post Allam game will be a respectable 13,198...
Feels a bit premature. But. On behalf of the silent majority, thanks for everything. On behalf of myself, it’s been a rollercoaster but the fun wore off some time ago. Good riddance.
How much are open top buses to hire.... or fireworks to go off on the stadium roof with ticker tape showering down. Now that would get some great press coverage to show just how much everyone feels about their going...
IF they had said there is A prospective buyer I would be a little more inclined to believe that the end is nigh, but as they claim there are a number of interested parties it just muddies the waters. Going around saying their goodbyes, why do that before the deal is done they only live in Kirkella or Swanland.
They aren't going to be going to the football again, so they aren't going to see those employees again, because they're leaving. It's not as though they're friends, they aren't going to bump into one another down the pub. They're leaving, they're almost gone. There are interested parties and if they go through due diligence and make a better offer than the one on the table, then they'll takeover instead. I imagine Ehab would want offers to consider before shaking hands on a final deal. Duffen, however, I reckon will get it done.
November starts tomorrow Not long now. It's happening. How the hell it's taken RH & HDM so long to publicly declare it's 'on the verge' is beyond me ... but sadly doesn't surprise me - they really are clueless as journalists. Even I knew a couple of weeks ago now. Time to believe BT.
