We managed 55k against Brighton on a Wednesday night last season, baring in mind Spurs fans ****ing hate Wembley, that's a pretty decent turnout. With the new stadium at 62k and in a much more desired location, we should have a decent turnout for most matches in the Prem and CL. Fully aware we won't always sell out the 62k at the new ground but if we're taking 55k to Wembley for an evening kick off against Brighton, I can't see us dipping much lower than that number at the new stadium.
So you really believe that you can finish your project for 600m?? Spurs can generate 400m in retained profit! How? Sell Kane Dele Alli etc...
I think the cad doesn't actually believe that you go to games mate ... why he'd come to that conclusion given your extensive knowledge of .... ahhh there it is
I don't have any view about the final cost of the stadium. I don't have the information. Most of the figures being quoted seem more likely to be the cost of the entire project. I think most of that 400m has already been generated. If, as is being claimed, the final cost will exceed £1b and we've only drawn a loan of £360m then a lot of the money spent so far must have come from the club's own resources. So any pain from the cost of the stadium restricting spend has mostly happened.
1. Doesn't matter whether the mony is spent on the stadium, area, train stations or egress, it still needs to be paid back. 2. How how 400m already been 'generated'? Not saying it hasn't, just curious as where the money has come from? ENIC? Was it a gift?
