  2. I used to visit Shrewsbury with some frequency in my sKOOL days. First 'object of amore' lived there you see. It was a quaint little fairly historic town back then. Now it's full of double yellows and one-way systems as are many towns these days I suppose.

Thank you for your good wishes. I'm sure we will aim to top the league.

Arteta will go on the attack <ok>

never mind about being top, just keep climbing and let spurs and the other deadbeats worry about their predicaments

You should make 4th spot and the two domestic Cups your priority. It's more realistic and I think you should sacrifice this season's European Cup to ensure you qualify for next years, when you will have a stronger squad (and you'll not be the shambles you have been for the past few weeks).

well 2 weeks and 1 day away, and the shrews are just beginning to limber up.3 league wins on the trot and two carling games won against championship and premier opposition. having risen to 5th place we are ready to climb higher and go further in the carling cup. i just hope the game is taken seriously by the arsenal. floreat salopia and be very aware of the shrews, the quiet club. do hope your attack know where they are aiming for, best to, give them sat nav, they might have come in useful at old trafford, ah but then you did not have many up front there. 3-1 to the shrews the quiet club

  14. So you're expecting us to be gifting the Carling then eh, AJ?

PS - International week I expect will mean there's proportionately less chat on the board so we're counting on you to keep the activity going ;)

Yes I think you should sacrifice it, preferably straight away.

  16. Ahh Mr Shrew

You mean relinquish the title now, write you a letter offering you right of passage into the next round or simply not turn up? <laugh>

    Give my regards to Mardol

Any of those would be just fine. <laugh>

Seriously thou, chances are whatever team Arsene puts out should win the game but Shrewsbury are under no pressure so might as well go for it.
