I also loved Lambert's "don't judge me on my past" line. I should try that in my next job interview.

    What a Charlie!
The yellow and green section of his C.V. is far and away the best bit!

    Poetic licence...or a bare-faced lie? :emoticon-0112-wonde
    Lambert's first presser this morning.

"I know the lads haven't won many games but they should still have a squad good enough to win games and do better than what they're doing. That's important."

What manager signs a contract with a club without knowing the budget that he will have to work with?!?!

Headline from the BBC sports pages today - 'Football Leaks claims Euro Super League talks held by clubs'
Der Speigel also alleges separate documents show Manchester City and Paris St-Germain avoided financial fair play sanctions with the intervention of Fifa president Gianni Infantino. :steam: #ludicrous

Really f*cked off with the Wolves love.

We could all be like that if we cheat and disregard FFP.

They lost, they deserved to lose. They got 2 weak pens, that usual promoted teams would never of got. The wolves fans are still moaning, and Gary is asking for VAR.

The amount of times every Premiership season we got f**cked over coz we were "little promoted Norwich". The most obvious that even non-Norwich fans mention is the Jerome overhead kick being ruled for high foot. Even though over head kicks were allowed the rest of the seasons before, during and after.

Imagine if Wolves had an over head kick ruled out! It wouldn't happen. But if it did. I think there would be a petition to the government.

I know. Delia was desperate to pump an extra few hundred mill in, but didn't want to flaunt the rules. <laugh>

You know Kevin Muscat doesn't play for them anymore, right? I actually thought they were pretty hard done by today. Was a good fightback, and the odious Lineker was just saying they were denied an obvious goal, which they clearly were.

I don't like them, but I also don't like seeing fair goals disallowed.
