Which one of you lot broke the site this morning or was you all so busy with your lives that none of you noticed
I think it was around 10:30ish last night the site crashed for a few moments, but it came back up and appeared ok. I probably cleared off to bed about 11:30 because Comm was boring me Anyway came on this morning and nowt, just a dead parrot. So checked with someone that the site was down and it was not a glitch my end, that was confirmed, so i then contacted the real boss man and he threw a spanner at the server and hey here we are again.
It's your fault I expect deleting the politics thread and then reinstating it, really does not help the server, the thread has got too big and it's a lot of data to fook about with. I remember once when Minxy removed a long running thread from the Toon board some years ago (scantily dressed or undressed women) the site did not like, no siree, not one bit and keeled over.
I remember. That thread was a proper pervs paradise. It was great, until the feminist got her hands on it.
Nowt to do with it Comm. Site got taken down by google and mobile networks, we had to remove everything and meet their criteria before they would allow us back up. It's all to do with the advertising revenue side of things.
Different circumstances. We are or were not registered as an 18 site. And if you want the advertising revenue that we were taking then you have to abide by those set of rules. I've seen the porn argument countless times and certainly hear what people say, but we don't make the rules, and if we don't play by the rules set for us, they take us offline.
I didn't notice, as this is my first attempt to post, today. However, I wouldn't mind betting that the site had an overload of the crappy threads created by @Matth_2014 That would be my bet.
Why did you reinstate the Politics thread? KC had jumped from it to the Jews thread (bypassing any Hull City or football related discussions) so we knew he was still alive.
