He's panicking because his power-play gamble to blackmail Rafa into signing a new contract by holding back transfer funds has backfired into his fat face. In the summer he had a club on a high after a good season with the fans behind the manager and optimistic about the clubs future and it would have only taken a reasonable transfer investment to keep the club moving forward, but instead he lies to and alienates Rafa and the fans once again with his idiotic business practices so now we have a tired ambivalent fanbase and a squad of players who can sense the negativity and can barely pass the football anymore and as such Ashley's investment is hurtling towards yet another relegation once again due to his utter incompetence. I think Ashley knows if we go down again this season there's no coming back this time because the blame is purely on his shoulders(no McClaren this time) and I believe the crowd will truly of had enough of this disastrous bastard and his carny huckster ways.
It would seem that Charnley had advised Fat Mike to start attending games and do the Pizza thing in an attempt to re-engage with Rafa, the team and the fan base. It’s supposedly good for morale and team togetherness ahhh xx

When you consider what the Leicester City owner did for his club and the city, God took the wrong one.
It's certainly eye opening seeing the outpouring of emotion coming out following the leicester tragedy, you do wonder how different things would be had it been Ashley.
I imagine it would have been the exact opposite. One question I do keep asking though...what happens if Fatty does die? Who would inherit his estate and presumably the club?
No idea, but do we care? Surely NOBODY can be as bad (or worse) than that ****er ! He literally hates everybody so his will probably says sell everything and use the money as fuel on the fire to cremate his body.
Where do people get this idea from? He has skin like a ****ing rhino. He is petty, he is antagonistic, he is vindictive. However he really couldn't give a **** what people say or print about him. This whole attending games is probably under the winding up or I'm billy big bollocks category i.e. he thinks it will wind up fans to see his fat smiling face as we plummet again. People keep mentioning this all blowing up in face and it being his fault. This is the 3rd time we are headed for relegation. It does not bother him or he would approach it differently. He knows he can spend to get back up. It all falls under the larger vindictive category. He promised to put the club into purgatory supposedly after the fans abused his family. It is difficult to argue that he hasn't achieved that goal.
I beg to differ ................ whilst Pardew / Carver / Mclaren (delete as appropriate) were being slaughtered in the press the 'club' stayed silent, but as soon as attention turns specifically to Ashley the PR machine rumbles into life. Previously when we were performing badly Ashley always had the luxury of the fans directing a large percentage of their vitriol towards the manager ................... this time Saint Rafa can do no wrong and the hate is being fired directly towards Ashley, added to the fact that the press and media is now sticking it to him and Ashley finds himself in uncharted territory. Pizza-gate, turning up at matches, 'engaging' with Rafa ......................... it is all designed to divert attention away from Ashley because he does not like to be called names.
Well surely if Fatty keeps turning up to matches he must want to be entertained, not bored rigid? This might tempt him to part with some transfer cash in January! (though don't hold your breath).
He will take us with him. We will sell the souls of all our best players and get relegated to the Sports Direct Hell League Division 2.
