The new Vinnie Jones? When he retires he could take up starring in Columbian gangster movies. The new crazy gang?
Who is this Miguel Almiron that we are being linked with, anyone heard of him? Eriksen back up or replacement?
You know how we're linked to any random Championship or League One prospect having a good season, such as the current links to Bradley Dack? Well he's having a good season for a mid-tier MLS side, so he's closer to League One - albeit Paraguayan, not English. The main thing to point out is that, for Lanus, he was mainly deployed as a winger as his pace and dribbling caused a lot of damage out wide - but for Atlanta he's deployed as a number ten due to a combination of those attributes wreaking havoc on MLS defences that can best be described as Big Man Head Ball and him being better deployed there due to their mental 3232 formation
was injured and Chelsea offered Everton more and Barkley more than we did. He was into the last 6 months of his contract and so wanted an amount that would have broken our pay structure...imagine the **** storm that could have caused in the squad.
The Levy Out mob have officially degenerated into complete insanity, because after spending the entire summer demanding we sign somebody they're responding to rumours of us signing somebody by saying we absolutely shouldn't. First of all they're saying Barrios isn't up to standard not because of anything he does on the pitch, but because he doesn't play in La Liga, the Bundesliga or Premier League that automatically makes him not good enough - which not only believes that no European club should ever sign a South American player due to them all playing in the South American leagues at some point in their career, but apparently we made mistakes in signing players from League One and the Prva HNL...mistakes commonly known as Dele Alli and Luka Modric. Oops! Secondly, with us being linked with Aaron Ramsey (because of course we are) they're saying we absolutely should not sign him because then we no longer have the moral high ground we so valiantly fought for thanks to Judas - which somehow draws a direct comparison between Arsenal withdrawing a contract offer to Ramsey even though he's a free agent in the summer with Judas letting his contract run down before ****ing off to Woolwich and trying to act as if he wasn't a mercenary **** of the highest order. What do these idiots even want?
Except when what they want doesn't fit with unwritten rules for what they want, and that case...leVy OUt!!!!!!!
Ajax Player Watch No, it's not De Ligt or De Jong, instead Voetball International are reporting we're interested in their Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana - which has naturally led to blogs tripping over one another suggesting he'll be replacing either Vorm or Lloris. While it may sound like either the Dutch papers jumping on the Lloris bandwagon or his agent trying to get a new contract for his client, it is feasible that Onana is weighing up his options considering these comments he made after a 3-0 drubbing from PSV back in April If I have to go then I will definitely leave, I want to leave because you are going to really feel s**t if you lose such matches,...I can stay and try to be champion next season, but if something better comes I'll be away, I think it's important to look at my own career, I'm ready for my next step with a new challenge. That this happens is not only the fault of the manager, because I know that the media will spread negativity about him. Marc Overmars and Edwin van der Sar, they are all equally responsible for making us play s**t. It is the fault of everyone at Ajax, not just that of Ten Hag. ...although those comments also go a long way to suggesting Poch won't be keen on bringing him in - and that's before assuming that, as he joined Ajax from Barca for just €200k, any deal would likely involve a fat sell-on clause. Malcom Watch Oh bloody hell... Yet again we're linked with a January move for him, this time it's the Corriere dello Sport reporting that we're prepared to offer up to £50m bid to rescue him from his Barca nightmare - which will no doubt piss off Roma even more than having him gazumped in the first place. To be honest I can't see this happening, as a loan is surely the more logical option - and if it does happen, I doubt there will be an option to make it permanent Departure Watch Same as always: Dembele, Wanyama, GKN and Janssen. Basically the departures assumed during the summer, but with more clickbaity headlines to get clicks.
I’d take Ramsey in a heartbeat. Barrios I’m not as sure about but we do need numbers in midfield and if Poch rates him then go for it.
Ramsey would be a great signing. Certainly no comparison with Judas as stated above. He would provide great versatility and cover in a number of areas. Not sure he would be an automatic first choice when all fully fit and that could be a limiting factor for him.
I’d take Ramsay by default on the pure basis he’s better than a declined Dembele and Winks. That said, there are better midfielders out there who I’d much rather pursue. He’ll never join us anyway.
