I can remember when they had horse jumping at Wembley before a League Cup Final (Swindon v Arsenal.Arsenal lost!). The pitch was so cut up I don't think the ball could roll!!!!!
**** pitch will probably do us a little favour anyway, City like having a slick surface so they can get their passing game going. So what was initially gonna be a 4-0 win for them tonight has now turned into just a 2-0 win
So much then for the sh*te about Brasilian players learning "Samba football" as kids by games played on beaches eh (how many do Citeh have in their squad ?? ) .
starting early.... ohhhhhhhhhhhhh wheeeeeeennnnnn thhhhheeee spuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrssssss goooooooooo marrrrrrrccchhhhhhiiinnnng iiiiiiinnnnnnnnn just going to dentist so feck knows what state I'll be in later
Leaving for the game in a minute. I'm up in the gods block 550 row 23. Old bloke with 14 year old son looking cold. I don't get to go to many games so should probably have chosen one we are more likely to win!
1969 The Don Rogers final if my memory is correct. Tore the Arse a new hole. The little darlings claimed half of them had the flu.
My cousin’s taken my ticket for the game today, been rotten all weekend and haven’t been able to shift it so didn’t fancy the trek to Wembley, the cold doesn’t bother me but being bunged up on the underground is a killer. Funnily enough, I missed Man City a few years back as well and we won 4-1. Wonder if the omen repeats itself?
I really hope whoever poch picks in midfield he instructs them to support our full backs tonight city are so strong down the flanks .I hate to say it but sissoko might be just right for this game on the right side of midfield and coco on the left
