Why not get together with fans of Manchester United and Liverpool, and créate "F*** Brexit" banners at your PL games and CL games?
Angela Merkel confirms she will be standing down as leader of the CDU and won't seek another term as Chancellor, stepping down when her current term ends in 2021 ...or, as the usual gobshites on the far right heard her say, "Merkel's clearing her desk as we speak because something something immigration LEAVE MEANS LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (and, yes, the nation's "favourite" failed gameshow contestant is leading the charge of not understanding a simple sentence)
I wonder if capital punishment would deter many crazies? I think it is rarely done in America these days.Apparently it's cruel to execute murderers!!!!!......and anyway, lawyers seem to let things go on and on.Sometimes for years. Please don't tell us the synagogue murderer needs mental help. He knew what he was doing!......as did the pipe bomber!!
It says a lot that not only does this do the rounds every time, but it's a depressingly accurate depiction of the media coverage please log in to view this image ...so much for the left being unable to meme, 4chan
I have encountered that chart in commentary form. inverted wrt the established USA media (could be a 'patent race' here as to who got it out first < see you in court > ) . But your timing is not so good ...
Seemingly getting upset at the lack of attention he's getting, waffling gargoyle Nigel Farage popped up on Fox News saying that Americans should be far more concerned about Jewish influence in their country than Russian influence. This is less than 48 hours after a white supremacist shot up a synagogue. Of course, the Tree of Life shooting has led to the usual bollocks from the losers of the meme war, for example Does it even need to be pointed out that's not Soros, but former Auschwitz guard Oskar Groening? CBS made that one clear back in 2015, FFS https://www.cbsnews.com/news/former...g-i-couldnt-imagine-jews-surviving-auschwitz/ A quick glance at the comments section for the video demonstrates just how on the nose the image is, since plenty of them have the go-to response of "Something something ISLAM!!!!!!" (as well as continuing to demonstrate how tone deaf they are by repeating the mantra of how a group who cannot meme because of their political ideology make sweeping comments about people based on their political ideology)
Clickbait title and he could've easily said everything he needed to say in three to four minutes, but to get more ad revenue he stretched the video out to thirteen minutes that led to him repeating himself and proving just how weak his argument is Hardly unique for his channel either, based on the other recommendations that the algorithm flashed up at the end
And his argument is ?? "Hardly unique for his channel either, based on the other recommendations that the algorithm flashed up at the end" I assume the youtube recommendations flashed up other people like Tim Pool (avowed Left leaning, have worked for firms like Vice media etc) ...
I'm reading a copy of "History" Oct issue. The BBC is issuing a collectors edition of "Nazi Germany". It says inside you will find:- A timeline of the Third REICH. Historical perspectives on Adolf Hitler. How Nazi beliefs took over Gewrman society. The camps and the Holocaust. Nazi propaganda triumphs. The Third Reich at war. My question is.....are the BBC off their heads?..... and should a copy be sent to Trump?
I'll tell you what his argument is: impossible to follow due to his rambling delivery, which is what tends to happen when people have an argument that's thinner than a piece of tissue paper - or, in the case of this video, a complete failure to understand the meme as it's got nothing to do with blaming one side or the other as the whole point of the meme is to say two things are entirely alike, as the following examples from Know Your Meme demonstrate please log in to view this image please log in to view this image What's important is that, with the clickbaity title, he's clearly fishing for right wing clicks and the comments for the video clearly demonstrate this - yet the actual conversation for the video really should be why he couldn't make his argument in four clear and concise minutes instead of thirteen rambling minutes that just made it obvious that ad revenue was the motivating factor. He's hardly the only example of this, for example Ethan Klein of h3h3 productions spent years positioning himself as left-wing, yet the H3 Podcast habitually fishes for right wing clicks, for example one of the most-viewed videos on the highlight channel has boogie2988 talk about a confrontation with Anita Sarkeesian at a convention, because any title that promises to make Sarkeesian look bad is guaranteed to get the anti-feminists flocking over, and judging by the comments nobody listened to boogie's quite reasoned arguments (namely how Sarkeesian's overly-confrontational stance on feminism is not only giving people justifiable reason to ignore her but is also damaging to all feminists) as they were rushing to the comments to make the usual statements about how white men are the real victims, or GamerGaters saying how she's clearly never played a game in her life in spite starting as a games journalist, or how the left are bitter at other people's success and try to destroy them. Similarly there's a video with Harley Morenstein from Epic Meal Time about Count Dankula's day in court for saying "Gas the Jews" 23 times in a four minute video, which not only clickbaits the **** out of the title by saying he went to jail for a prank (when he was fined £800 for saying "Gas the Jews" 23 times in a four minute video, which falls under hate speech in British law) but the comments section is filled with Americans proving their ignorance of the case and British law shouting their mouths off.
Really ?? What I easily got from it (with ZERO effort) was the :: 1. "pot call the kettle black" rhetoric of dual party partisan gesturing in the USA over the events of last week 2. notion of a meme being like an "ink blot" test (where the mentally affected see something very different to the majority) But then (in an amusing display of irony) you go on a rambling delivery about Tim Pool and "right-wing" clickbait. BTW, you have once again mentioned Gamergate when tis totally irrelevant to a discussion. Do you work in the computer games industry (developer, magazine publication etc) ?? Were you directly sucked into the Gamergate maelstrom and hurt ?? And if not you, someone "near and dear" to you ?? I ask, because the only analogy I can offer is that if any time we discuss anything about corporate sliminess here, I was to keep harping on about Worldcom or Nortel (because that happened in the telecoms sector - in which I work) .
Which has nothing to do with the meme. Which is patently false. You mean where I gave examples of how Pool is hardly the only Youtube using clickbait headlines to get the worst of the right wing to click on their video, which gives a bump in view numbers and leads to the sort of comments I mentioned? Or how it's obvious those people popping by clearly didn't watch the video itself, as their comments are completely at odds with what was being said? That's not rambling, that's illustrating a point - as opposed to spending the best part of fifteen minutes saying "I don't understand a meme, here's a CNN editorial" which could have been wrapped up in five minutes, but because he wanted the increased ad revenue he stretched the video out to absurd levels Anita Sarkeesian is to GamerGaters what Hillary Clinton is to Trump supporters, so it's entirely relevant to bring it up when discussing trawling for right wing clicks to bring up an example of a video guaranteed to get the GamerGaters flooding to the video - which is exactly what happened. No. Does that mean I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it?
Not sure many would claim 2 for anti-Semitism and 3 is a modern construct where people mistake Anti Zionist with Anti Semitic. The first one of course is the justification many give, even though Pilate was a tyrant that executed everyone who claimed to be the messiah (and hundreds did around the time of Jesus) cause messiah was a political not religious term. Crucifixion was rare even for Romans and only used for people trying to overthrow the Romans. In short an excuse only used by the stupid.
Everything to do with the meme. "Which is patently false." Patently true (as evidenced by the stuff posted on his Twitter feed) . "You mean where I gave examples of how Pool is hardly the only Youtube using clickbait headlines to get the worst of the right wing to click on their video, which gives a bump in view numbers and leads to the sort of comments I mentioned? Or how it's obvious those people popping by clearly didn't watch the video itself, as their comments are completely at odds with what was being said? That's not rambling, that's illustrating a point - as opposed to spending the best part of fifteen minutes saying "I don't understand a meme, here's a CNN editorial" which could have been wrapped up in five minutes, but because he wanted the increased ad revenue he stretched the video out to absurd levels" Some nice fallacy there. What people posted on the youtube comments (having watched the video or not) , or whether he "stretched the video out" , does not alter the underlying content itself, or its validity. "Anita Sarkeesian is to GamerGaters what Hillary Clinton is to Trump supporters, so it's entirely relevant to bring it up when discussing trawling for right wing clicks to bring up an example of a video guaranteed to get the GamerGaters flooding to the video - which is exactly what happened." See above. "No. Does that mean I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it?" No. But you appear to be incapable of discussing anything related to the politics in the Internet world without attempting to mention it (or memes, or ... ) when your comments are challenged. Let us see in the days to come whether you can post anything vaguely related to current political events without mentioning memes, NPCs or the like.
#2 is a viable means for how the Jews got into a position of financial power in European society that centuries later would be a source of hatred from Adolf and his crowd. If that is really how their power was eventually achieved, then Adolf did not adhere to "Don't hate the player hate the game" . "The first one of course is the justification many give, even though Pilate was a tyrant that executed everyone who claimed to be the messiah (and hundreds did around the time of Jesus) cause messiah was a political not religious term. Crucifixion was rare even for Romans and only used for people trying to overthrow the Romans." You will need to cite your sources for this claim (that many Jews were put to death over the time of the Roman occupation, for claiming that they were the Messiah) .
So the Tories introduced a "digital services" tax in the Budget. Using the "robbing Peter to pay Paul" analysis , it remains to be seen whether that money will produce a "revenue neutral" solution to counter the grief that high street retailers get on business rates (even after the cut in that) .
