I factored that in in my calculation. Basically it's 25m for Premium seats, 25m from increased capacity, 25m from sponsorship, 15m from non football events and 10m from restaurants etc. These are all guestimates but should be in the right ball park....
Personally I think he like all of us is frustrated at playing at Wembley and not our magnificent new stadium and it seems to be getting to him.
I think considering our injuries so far this season he has done a good job under the circumstances of not being at white Hart Lane yet
You are playing the same trick as the media by taking comments out of context and then feeding in your own interpretation. If these are comments made following very disappointing results it's not surprising at all but it doesn't mean that they apply to his position in the club.
Put the knives away Spurf. I guess I was duped into believing these comments having read them online and not knowing the full timing or context of them, and merely shared. I simply asked people's thoughts on them and at no stage insinuated Poch's position at the club had changed at any stage.
You: My thoughts.... no new signings, no new stadium. I'd feel pretty deflated! No new signings I have never heard MP complain about that. Not knives SUL just words.
Spurf the apologist. Scotland. Levy. You name it ... Pochettino makes very clear his general disdain for the hacks. If they asked these kinds of questions to him in Spanish no doubt he would have evaded these man-traps with ease.
You are not getting away with that slur RDBD, once again the modern world twists values and uses accusations to cover it's own bankruptcy of ideas.
I think that you missed out one of the most important and yet also most bizarre comments: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46016575 "I know I always have a good relationship with the media but my feeling is not the best feeling, I had a better feeling in previous seasons." I don't even know what he's talking about there, but he's clearly pissed off about the hacks, for some reason. My guess for the overall theme of it would be that things aren't working out at the moment. We're winning most of our league games, but we're playing fairly poorly most of the time. Our Champions League campaign has been a disaster, though we've actually played pretty well in at least two of those matches. Our stadium's up in the air, our transfer window was a complete zero and our injuries and fatigue have been real issues. In our previous campaigns under Pochettino there have been plenty of positives and a good feeling around the club. I don't think that's the case this time. He probably feels similarly, though perhaps his perspective's a little different.
His command of English is not as great as someone who is educated and their first language is English, therefore he leaves himself a bit open and people will make of it, what it isn't
He toils hard NOT to give them ammo. And they seem to despise him for it. With the current "perfect storm" around the club at the moment, no doubt the hacks are eagerly seizing this possible once in a lifetime opportunity to stick it to both Pochettino and Levy. To them I say : enjoy it (while it lasts) . I also believe that Pochettino has earned a moment of violence against a hack (Sun hacks preferred - we'll crowd-fund his FA/PL fines) .
It's not as if Poch's been cordial with the hacks in previous seasons, as evidenced by the numerous eye rolls when he has to listen to their Narrative-building questions
Says it all that, while most fan channels try to be the next ArsenalFanTV, ours are trying to be the next Chris Cowlin...
