Honestly, the quality of threads in the Sunderland board shot up when he left for a week. All of the arguments died right down and the overall quality of the discussions greatly improved. However, now he's returned, it's all went downhill again. I really have no idea why any mackems wanted Cestria back other than simply seeing him as 'one of their own', because whilst 10% of his posts are decent, 90% of it is utter dross, and he alone brings down the quality of the Sunderland forum which otherwise contains some really good posters and sound football fans. He alone puts the Sunderland board in some bad light on here, and I do feel for those who just want some genuine football banter. In fact, I'd say it's highly disrespectful to fellow mackems. He left in a massive strop like a child, and they (somehow) welcomed him back, but he's immediately started disrupting the forum experience for them again.

How far back would you like to go? 100 years? 75 years? 50 years? 25 years? last season? this morning? Since the mid 90's I'd have to say that the mags had the advantage over us, recently we have. Who really cares about the number of fans at a game? the only stat I look at are the results and the league table. Nice piece of fishing by Cest, and it's brought the mags (and those who think they're being clever) out in force to argue around and around.
