He played well imo. Don't mind players giving the ball away if they're trying (the right) things. He got involved and worked hard.
Arsenal been on a good run but haven’t played anyone spectacular and even during those games their defence has been shaky as hell and been lucky not to concede a lot more goals.
c'mon... You need to I know what's around you... he's just way off his own level whether he's not enjoying this really deeper role I don't know but he looks miles off to me.
I think he's been the best of the front three do far this season (not saying much I know) so he's entitled to a off day (in your eyes)
given salah has 7 goals and 3 assists right now and mane 7 goals... And Bobby only 4 (with two assists) the stats would not. incidentally. early one mane was on it and the other 2 not. then firmino picked up a bit but the last two games.. I think he's been dog **** frankly. just giving it away and really sloppy.
Firm isn’t the main scorer though. He does the dirty work in the middle to help create space for the wide 2 players
He certainly scored.plenty last season. if you can tell.me what he did today was a fair to good Bobby firmino performance fair enough... but.. I still don't agree. so was it?
Not saying anything about his performance today. You said he’s been the worse of the 3 because he’s scored less goals than Mane and salah.
Bobby got 27 last season to Salah's 44............Mane was 20? (bearing in mind injury lay off and suspension for the red card) But Bobby is about the assists too, and the clever work he does in the attacking half of the pitch. I don't think he is on his best form, but still makes a worthwhile contribution regardless
I agree with this. His presence is important, and the work he does to win the ball back is essential. His touch has been poor at times, though - and he's not been as sharp as usual. I'm a big fan of Firmino so I'll go easy, but he has been hit and miss for a while. I'm sure it will come back.
I just find it interesting that salah was involved twice in first goal passes to has for cross and is then on other side for goal. crossed to vvd for his chance. ran in behind and was clearly fouled for a.pen. set up shaqiri set up mane but he's out of form apparently.
You've said yourself often enough, it's about what you see with your eyes rather than stats. If he hadn't had such a good season last time we'd probably be very happy with him now, but we can see he's not quite at the level we know he can be. However, he started about the same last year, iirc - and he's on 7 and 3 assists so far in all comps so he must be on for the 30 mark. The problem is that we're naturally comparing all of our front 3 to the golden period of last season as opposed to the same time last year. Still, we have a lot more points this time and look much better at the back so perhaps it's all good.
