Everybody beyond the 1st row has has a Max in front of them. There's potential for just about everybody to have a ****ty day tomorrow.
I am hoping Daniel stays in front of Max. Whoever wins I want Daniel to come out on top of the RBs. The start will be crucial to that aspiration. .
Oh yeah... I'm not sure why RBR would let him go. He's the absolute complete package when it comes to a racing driver. He's fast, has personality, good looking and likable. Instead, they have Max... Makes no sense.
Horner and Helmet are so bloody arrogant I bet they never dreamed Ricciardo would ever dare leave them. PMSL when I read he had signed for Renault . I hope history will she he made the right move , he certainly deserves it imho . I also hope gasly gives Max a hard time . Anyway I am late , so I am going for a Ricciardo win .
I think they felt he had nowhere else to go, so he would stay. I am hoping this move will prove good for Daniel, a bit like Lewis moving to Mercedes, may take a couple of years. Hoping Renault not only invest in the best aero engineers but have a clear strategy to differentiate to good effect. As for Max, I think the world knows. Ambition is good, humility is good too.
I have a feeling the Merc and Ferrari will out-drag the RBR's, so I'm going for a Verstappen crash at, or before, turn 1. yeah, but FA is the only person to win a WDC in one, they have a cycle: 'let's get into F1, we'll do it cheaply' they buy back their old team and build an unreliable/crap car 'oh dear, our cheapness makes us look crap, let's spend some money' they spend lots of money and produce a race winning car 'oh dear, we're spending too much money, we have a good car, so lets upgrade it as cheaply as possible ' they drop down grid 'let's get out of F1' sell team
To be fair Ern, at least Dan is joining them in a good stage! Personally hoping they are bluffing a little and are actually keeping some data away from RBR. Renault really must deliver a PU soon.
An angry and pride hurt Max will take out Ricciardo in the first turn...he will want to try to prove a point that he is thr better driver. Ricciardo really dented Max's ego yesterday and i am sure he is itching to get back at him today.
If he takes out one then he best take out the other to allow fairness. Personally I see a Max-Vettel vendetta starting and flowing into next season.
I can see the first four taking each other out in turn 1, but I'm hoping it will be clean to set up some good battles assuming there'll be some overtaking on track.
There's lots of potential for drama tonight... Ricciardos reliability (would RBR want him to win- coincidence that he has had rotten reliability since signing with Renault?) Mad Max has had engine issues all weekend Seb might face the wrong way AGAIN Lewis just needs to sit out of trouble to win a 5th world title Kimi might have the old two buses at once analogy after his shock win last week? Bottas thinks he is owed one having given Lewis a win recently.
I'd be quite happy if all the bulls, Ferraris and Mercedes get taken out. Interesting to see what happens from there
Horner: Verstappen discovers problems quicker than Ricciardo Ok...Horner says that, but his boss says Ricciardo and Max had thr sme problems with thr car, but Ricciardo worked out his quicker...So, who is correct?????
