My post are also above. dribs is infamous for just posting what he just read and not reading anything before. it's no tome for jokes imo. just put on MOTD and Leicester are on right now.
If I was West Ham manager I’d be slapping s big fine on the CB that deflected the Leicester equaliser in. Turns his back on it... you’re a big CB stand your grand and take it in the chest ffs
There's some This guy and that guy were not but none and publicly speaking. Confusion as to who was seen at stadium so who was on it.
Not according to Sky News After every home game about 20 dignitaries are taken away from the stadium in the helicopter.
Agree mate, doesn't matter who was on board it's terrible. Massive hit for the club if both the chairman and manager were aboard too.
Tbh I find it incredible that a helicopter of its size is allowed to land and take off so soon after a game when there's still thousands of people around the surrounding area in pubs and fast food outlets or just walking down the nearby streets, could have been much much worse than it was. However, it's a terrible accident and God bless those dead and injured in the crash.
What's the difference between taking off and landing in a crowded area and flying over a crowded city, if the tail rotor ****s up the same thing will/can happen no matter where it is.
The difference?, the thing took off from an isolated airfield, yes it flies over populated areas, are you saying it's totally safe for a copter of that size to land and take off in a 105yrdsx55yrds enclosed area where close by the streets are packed with matchgoers?. Of course a serious technical fault will cause a crash, but the habit of many execs landing/taking off were there are large crowds(horse races, football, rugby, cricket)should be stopped, just an opinion Diego and if you don't agree fine mate.
I note the Thai cave boys are visiting Manchester for the Everton game. They will wish they were back underground after half an hour Ba dum shhhhh.
Back on the tragic events of last night. Leicester chairman and daughter plus two pilots were on board with one other as yet unidentified person. No survivors is the rumours No official statements have been made as yet
I was always under the impression that if the tail rotor packs up you’ve got no chance in a helicopter. However, a pilot told me that’s a myth, they’re trained to be able to land them even without a tail rotor working. Sounds like maybe the main rotor might have failed as well in this one according to witness reports.
Seems to maybe be the case. just tail rotor would be highly unusual given the pilots feel in and landed without issue. it would spin but still have relative control if tail rotor fails. it sounded like they lost power right enough. they crashed into whatever as well which blew tanks. many many people witnessed including kids which is just awful for them all.
