As ive said I like where Puel wants to take us but the bloke has no ****ing idea how to get there. Too many piss poor decisions cost him He insists on playing Morgan despite him costing us alot points this season He spent £25M on a right back who is the worse defensively then what we already have Gets rid of Slimani, Ulloa and Musa and doesnt replace them Registers James over King. James is always injured. If we have an midfield injury crisis like last season we will look stupid Spends £40M on centre halfs and doesnt use them Doesnt replace Mahrez. Rachid Ghezzal so far hasnt looked anywhere near good enough to be anything more then back up Talk of dressing room unrest has been going on for most of his reign here Stuck with Amartey playing right back who has cost us numerous goals His poor decisions during games cost us. Never brings on Iborra when everyone can see we need him when we are under pressure Takes off Maddison who is the one play who is the only one who can create something out of nothing Do I need to go on?
Carry on mate - getting things off your chest is good for you. Can't say I agree with a lot of what you have written but I have said my piece enough.
Team news Schmeichel Amartey Soyuncu Magiure Chillwell Ndidi Iborra Ghezzal Maddison Albrighton Iheanacho Subs Evans Gray Vardy Ward Pereira Okazaki Mendy It's different!
Game ended 1-1 but the main story is a bad leg injury for Amartey - looks like he has broken his left ankle.
Didn't understand the starting line up tonight. I thought Pereira would have been a better choice on the right, Mendy and Ndidi were just beginning to get an understanding together and were protecting the back four better. Then the partnership gets broken up tonight. Presumably Iborra was brought in to add a bit of composure but showed just how ineffective and slow he is. Thought Iheanacho got a bit of a raw deal having to play as the lone striker but didn't help his cause by not getting into positions to accept the ball and hold up play. In the second half we lacked the invention that Arsenal showed against us on Monday to get round the back of their packed defence, although we did try on a couple of occasions but couldn't then pick out a telling pass. What was the opinion on the new centre half? Personally I thought he looked naive. There's one thing being a bit nervous in your first game but that guy looks like a walking red card. Lost count of how many times he got in bad positions and fouled his man, and was only spared by some lenient decisions from the ref. Not the tallest by the looks of things and we still look very vulnerable from simple balls into our box. I hope Benkovic is a better prospect. Until then I'd feel a bit safer with Evans alongside Maguire, even though both of them lack any kind of pace.
I thought Soyuncu looked ok. First game so tough to get a proper judgement Albrighton showed how much we miss his workrate alone. He put in some decent crosses. Now Gray is back hopefully we can start playing with 2 wingers again. Ghezzal failed to impress much again Amartey did well apart from his shooting but it looked a bad injury and hopefully its just the same as what Gray did as his looked really bad at the time Overall not good enough. Home to West Ham who had 10 men most of the game Big week for Claude. Southampton home in the Carabao and Cardiff away on saturday If he doesnt win them 2 then I think its time to get rid
Albrighton played great but if no one can head a ball, is there a point? With Amartey gone, Simpson to come in or Pereira to cement right back you need to step up Chilwell is good but crosses poor. Irrelevant though as even if they are good no one can actually head it For what it’s worth I like Iborra and N’didi. Very safe and controlling. Soyuncu I thought did some very good things Ihenacho... I have no idea still Maddison... is he as good as we all think? Good touches, but does he actually have that top class pass in him? Maybe I’m being harsh and judging him on a lack of runs around him. Maguire is top class Ghezzal isn’t even good enough for the conference north Vardy... not sure what to think. Does he work in this style of play? Puel... sends me to sleep. Difficult as he hasn’t really done enough to be sacked but at the same time not enough to get confidence
I started the day wanting Puel sacked. I left the stadium concered for Amartey. I got home devastated for Vichai Its been by far the hardest few days for our club by far
No news on the precise details of the injury but he's just posted the following on Twitter. Should we assume it's a break if surgery was required? Came out of a successful surgery, but devastating news about the demise of our chairman. A generous man, to whom @Lcfc owes everything. I’m sure, you’re in a much better place. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and the families of the victims affected by this tragedy https://t.co/Vz7cfJgv4t
