Right now the same people in the UK who are pushing for women in boardrooms and the SAS, but not, as you mention, construction, sewage maintenance and so on, also claim there is no biological difference between men and women, and that all white males are privileged, sexist and racist. Even the Tennis, Wimbledon.. men play 5 sets, play much better tennis, and bring in far more people, women play 3 sets, play lesser quality tennis and bring in less viewers, yet women are paid the same as men. I also see they investigated a bunch of cadets for merely being photographed with Tommy Robinson with one lad thrown out. Seizing their phones ect. Ok - back on topic. Personally I'm for it - why should they get special treatment and treated like delicate little flowers that need to be protected? Presumably they’re having an issue recruiting enough people. Half the adverts I see seem to be recruitment drives for the army/navy. Like most people are saying, as long as the entry requirements aren’t relaxed, you aren’t reducing the quality of people. That’s how I see it.
You do realise it's for the SAS and SBS? Although there is practically zero chance of any woman getting in the latter. It's not for an engineer position on a ship.

Yes. I’m assuming the recruitment issue is still there though too. So if there’s virtually no chance, anyone who does has to be exceptional and if they’re that exceptional, is anyone going to care if they have a cock or not?
It's not a recruitment issue though is it. It's a way to be a more PC force. Most of the SAS are long served member of the Paras and other regiments..The SBS contains only people from the Marines..Now if some bird rocks up, questions will be asked by the blokes who have to look out for her.
