Can't see anything but a win.
Tettey should play fot Trybull, who had a good game on Tues, but AT offers more bite in holding defensively.

It's certainly what has happened in previous campaigns and IF we win tomorrow, then I'll really believe the team under DF/SW can achieve great things!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Edit -
Well General, it's BEGINNING to look as though 'We must be PATIENT' is paying off and we'll know a lot more by this time next month.
We've played all of the teams above us and apart from failing to show up against Leeds, our only other loss was to the Blades. (I don't consider the loss to Stoke as a defeat, that was just an occasion when we didn't get the 'rub of the green'). Teams are finding it increasingly difficult to score against us and we haven't conceded more than one goal in a game in the last 10 games.
The team spirit is fantastic and we once again have that elusive harmony between the players and the fans - long may it continue!!!

I believe we had 2 points less at this point last season.

I am happy with our form and the style is improving too , just a little bit of feet on the ground talk when comparing the improvement on last season.

I'm pretty confident we will finish higher this time .

    Some presser highlights:
    • Thompson should only be out for a month, but will still need to see a specialist on Monday. It could be an operation and 3 months out.
    • Pukki should definitely be back for Sheffield Wednesday, which is good because Rhodes is ineligible.
    • Tettey should be back for Brentford, but rotation likely for Bournemouth: Trybull, Marshall and Pinto all likely to play in that cup game.
    • Farke very happy with Buendia
    • Leitner is a machine, frequently running 13+ km per game and approaching club and league records.

I hadn't realised just how poor Brentford's form is, 3 defeats and 3 draws in their last 6 - that's 23rd in the form table. New manager will possibly render that irrelevant I guess.

I felt with the Villa manager change after opening with a win that was unconvincing, I felt it was a decent time to play them.

I think Brentford after 2/2 loses with the new coach, probably a decent time to play them too if we set up right. Manager unsure, players not convinced yet. Set up right and wobble them early, you would think we could get a decent win. Press them early, rattle off some early shots. Hit them while they are trying to stabilise.

    • Norwich have won six of their last nine matches against Brentford in all competitions (D1 L2).
    • Brentford have won two of their last three league visits to Norwich (L1), having won just one of their previous 17 (D3 L13).
    • Norwich have won seven of their last nine games in all competitions (D1 L1) - all seven wins have been achieved by a one-goal margin.
    • Brentford are winless in eight matches in all competitions (D4 L4), their worst run since February 2011 (also a run of eight).
    • Jordan Rhodes' brace for Norwich against Aston Villa in their last match was his first league brace since March 2017, when he scored two for Sheffield Wednesday against Norwich.
    • Brentford have won none of the 15 Championship games in 2018 in which they've conceded the first goal (D6 L9)

Early and late kick-offs are interesting today. Early is Boro V Derby and late is Leeds V Forest with at least 2 teams failing to gain maximum points, so a win for us today would be MASSIVE!!!! :emoticon-0102-bigsm
Edit - On paper, we are now entering a relatively easy run of games, BUT football isn't played on paper.
IMO, it would be FANTASTIC if we could amass another 10 points by the end of Nov - more than that..........

Why don't fans adopt the management / players mantra of "take each game as it comes"? :emoticon-0112-wonde
No targets set, no disappointments when / if it falls short. <ok>
