Nah. I used to take microwaves apart for the magnetrons inside for a reason that definitely didn't have anything to do with trying to create a working heat ray. South Cave was ****ing boring.
My Aunt lives in one of the Caves. South I think, but it's probably North. My old mind won’t recall, although I can recall the house number & road. She used to cook the Sunday chicken in the MW. Sometimes she’d kill & pluck it first.
I don't know what's worse. The fact you lot of talked about all this **** for five pages or the fact I've read it all.
One of the kids got me a similar one for my birthday a couple of years back. They love me dearly. We’ve got Sterling round making the brews.
Perceptive kids Ben My lad give me a new wallet for my birthday. I told him to hang on to it as he'll get to use it more than I will, as usual
Kids eh. can't help but love 'em. (I added a little bit to my earlier response to you in case you missed it which sort of sums up parental/child relationships !).
Brilliant, but I bet, like me, you'd give them all you have if they needed it. I want grandchildren but none of them are coming up with the goods. Selfish ****s.
Same here Ben. Trick with your last point is to tell 'em you're gonna leave your estate ONLY to your grandkids, not them. That might accelerate proceedings a wee bit ?
Came on this thread, saw 3 unread pages. Thought there was news on a takeover by Russel Hobbs, I’ll try again tomorrow. Night all
Les Dawson supposedly saw Sid James' ghost at the Sunderland Empire theatre. Scared the living horse ****e out of him by all accounts, to the extent he refused to return. Not strictly on topic I know, but it's the thought that counts.
Talking of the ghost of Sid James, both him and Babs Windsor were conspicuously absent from 'Carry On Screaming'- and the film was regarded by connorsairs of the jeanre as being one of the very best, right up there with 'Carry On Up The Jungle' How's that for tenuous linkage?
Chinese whispers mate. Obtuse diversions bring us back full circle. Chinese new owners it is then ? We live in interesting times !
