He actually gave stats over the last 5-6 years in the champions league, not an opinion. Yours is an opinion based on fantasy football which doesn't exist, big name players they may be as a team Madrid are no better than Utd/City/Chelsea. Agree on Barca but one team doesn't make a league.

Over the last couple of seasons most of the best players our league (and other leagues) who aren't now old or crocked went to Real and Barca Last year Real broke 90 points in their league, scored over a 100 league goals, and made the semifinal of the CL getting knocked out by the inevitable champion. The Real Madrid and Manu of 3 years ago+ aren't even close to the same sides they are now. The Real Madrid of last season and this one is reality, not fantasy football.
Are you even taking in what people are saying? Because Rangers have over 40 League titles does that make them one of the best teams in the world? No because they participate in a 2 team league. Real Madrid and Barcelona are so much bigger than the other teams, the gap between the finances of Madrid and 3rd place Valencia is like comparing United to a mid table club in the Premier League. They unfairly get most of the TV money in Spain while as you can see through the facts provided the Premier League is much more evenly shared out. Real Madrid outperformed everybody in Spain bar Barcelona who they beat once in 5 games last season. Bear in mind Real Madrid and Barcelona know each other very very well so for you to compare the way they perform against Barcelona to the way United got hammered is pointless. United may come across Barcelona once in 3 years, Real Madrid play them at least twice in a season. They are bound to get it right somewhere. But even 1 win in 5 is pretty poor. As recently as last season with virtually the same squad near enough as the previous seasons United outperformed Real Madrid in Europe and domestically. As said by others you are comparing individual talents which is what children do. Anybody who knows a shred about football will know United are a better team than Real Madrid at this moment in time. Madrid may have better individuals but as shown at City, that doesn't matter a jot.

And the season before last Real Madrid amassed 96 points and scored 102 goals in La Liga but went out of the Champions League to Lyon in the first knockout road. La Liga is ****e, the gap between the top 2 and the rest is ridiculous, Real Madrid have been miles above the rest of La Liga, apart from Barcelona, for years yet their European performances have done nothing to suggest that they are the 2nd best team in the World.

Not forgetting the fact that they haven't won the League in 3 years, failed to get past the Last 16 in the Champions League in the past 6 years before last year and they hadn't even won the Copa del Rey in 18 years since last season. Madrid are just as bad as Barcelona for diving. That is another thing that makes La Liga that little bit more ****e and pathetic compared to the Premier League. Yes there is diving in England but 2 of the best teams in the world cheating non stop to get each other sent off is pathetic. Madrid v Barcelona is the only game each side looks forward to in the whole season. The other sides, they know they can beat easily, in a 'derby' for Madrid to have such a poor recent record against Barcelona shows they are a bit of a way behind them. City have the best squad in the country according to children like you yet they still couldn't beat United to the league could they? Outperformed in the Community Shield and the past 5 times we have played them (except the FA Cup semi, they got lucky like Madrid did) just like Barcelona and Madrid. It shows no matter how good their squad looks, the TEAM that is united and not individuals, will more or less come out on top.

Valdes, Puyol, Milito, Abidal, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta were all in the starting XI the last time we beat them. I would more or less say this is still the spine of the team wouldn't you? It was 3 years ago though

Milito was Puyol's partner before Pique arrived. Iniesta was in Barcelona's team in 2006 and was called the best player in the world by Rooney after the 2009 final so I don't think he was too bad in 2008 either. 8-0 we beat arsenal really, people seem to forget that not only did we have a young side, we had the 2 best central defenders at our club out injured, probably 11-0 with them in the team
