That was a shocking display tonight,a better side would have mullered us.
Taylor made the difference got a shot in and Fammy picked up the spill.
The rest left the shooting boots in the changing rooms.
Massive improvements required for Stoke game.
Oh and Taylor and Odowda should start.

Professional performance tonight and got the job done. Keep clean sheets and you can't lose the game. Made numerous chances and on a different day could have got more like we did against Blackburn

Happy with 3 points from a game we didn’t play particularly well in . We do keep going till the end , which is encouraging.
Webster gets better each game , my MOM .
One first touch by Elliason was worth the entrance fee.
On the whole we huffed and puffed without ever really looking convincing, That said , 6 points from 6 is a excellent return .

Can’t believe I’m actually agreeing with what RR said. To me Diedhiou and Weimann play too far apart where’s Taylor and Diedhiou played closer so it worked. So O’Dowda and Taylor over Patterson and Weimann to start Saturday for me.

Well done to Max, but one or two clearances went unpunished but cracking save in the beginning of the game.

The probable reason why Diedhiou and Weimann looked like they play to far apart is quite early last night LJ swapped from a 4-4-2 to a 4-5-1 with Wiemann on the left wing. This was to give the extra person in midfield to stop us being over run.
It was only when Taylor came on we actually reverted to 2 up front, hence Diedhiou and Taylor being closer. I am sure there is a big debate around if we should have stayed with 2 up front as we then look more dangerous or if the change helped us be more solid and not concede.
However the argument Taylor should play over Wiemann because he plays closer I believe is mute. Play Wiemann in a 2 up front and not wide left and he ill play close to Diedhiou.

Good result although it sounds like the performance was iffy.
Consistency is now the key and a few bad results would undo the last 2 wins.
IMHO any team down to Aston Villa in 18th that can string a serious set of results together over the next 12 or so games will be knocking on the door of the Premiership.
    Will it be us ?

Unfortunately no I don’t think so, will be happy with consolidation this year, to hopefully push on next.
