I like it that he chose Saints "because they were a rough team". I get all misty eyed thinking about the days of Big John McGrath and Denis Hollywood.
Last Sunday I went out on the bike with a N'castle mate. We had a miserable time claiming our team was worse than the other. A point my mate made was that their midfield created plenty of chances that the forwards couldn't profit from. I pointed out that our midfield didn't provide plenty of chances, with the same result. Saints should win, therefore going for a N'castle win. Shelvey will run the show, as he did when we were abysmal up here.
Mohamed Salah is again said to be not at his best tonight for Liverpool but scores at least 2. Take note Charlie!!!!
I think there were a lot of 'agricultural' teams around in the 60/70's. Is that when 'Get your retaliation in first' was a tactic?
A lot of liverpool fans ive spoken to dont rate lallana and think he will be off soon. Given the fact he is EXACTLY what we need, yet left in mirky circumstances, would people want him back? (I know he is probably on 100k so unlikely to happen but still)
Certainly expected a few fans to feel that way. Personally I think he would fit in perfectly and has been treated harshly despite clearly enjoying his time here and wanting to make things right.
In an interview on talkSport, Mark Walters sited as Mark Dennis as the hardest opponent that made him take a deep breath before a game. Best add him to the list of thug superstars we all loved to watch. What about Joe Jordon? OMG he was hard
