That's not a bloke that is looking to sell up is it ....................... i genuinely fear a stadium name change again also.
He ain’t selling up at all. We need to accept we will go down twice and then he will still milk us. Maybe a mass boycott of one game will focus his mind?
I cannot disagree. We are going down, that is clear, so a mass boycott would not harm our survival chances ................. because we have no chance anyway. The more we protest the more the main stream media takes notice and the more the likes of Wise, Gray and Ferdinand look like complete bell ends. It is starting to feel very vindictive on Ashleys behalf now, which for a man of his wealth and business interests and presumably restrictions on his time is extraordinary really. He is clearly as stubborn as a mule so i think he will just dig his heals in and potentially start to do things to 'get at' the fans again, like he seemed to be doing when that tool Lambias was here........................ hence my fear of a stadium name change again ..................... plus imagine the publicity that would generate ................... and with SD now allegedly paying for advertising space now he will make sure they get their pound of flesh and then some.
Big call to boycott Wolves game. On the telly, good shout. Needs a lot to do it though, half empty stadium would speak volumes.
Nationwide publicity. He's a cancer the club needs to be rid of. Fans have tried most things, but this would speak volumes. **** Ashley and his regime.
I can remember standing outside the old west stand with my Dad as a very young man chanting 'sack the board' about old Gordon and his cronies.
I’ve never said this before but I’ll do it. I miss half the games due to not being in the UK now but am available for Wolves but fully willing to stay away for a game to try to help. It will be a gut wrenching thing to do but quite frankly I’m willing to try anything.. I really am. I love my club and sometimes a stamp back to move forward is what is needed.
Issue being is that Keith Bishop will tell him it will be for only one game and next game they'll all be back
I'm not sure how many ST holders there are,but they have already paid,so fatboy isn't bothered, but if they went to the game and then left after 10mins I'm sure that would have a major impacted
Silent protest on a televised game would be my suggestion - 11 mins of eerie silence at the beginning of the game. Sky would probably just turn the mic's up in the away end so it sounded like there was noise though. Liked the tennis ball protest a few years ago by Blackpool or a mass pitch invasion to get the club fined. Ripping up our own seats? or we let the mackems in so they can **** on them - maybe give them some cheesy chips to smear it on the SD signage? Something needs to be done regardless and we need to force him out but as Mickey says - fat mans got the season tickets in, paid for already and there will always be people who want to get to a game to take the other tickets so boycotting doesn't make sense to me and hurts the team.
Waste of time. Simple really, if people want him out they have to stop going. Not for the Wolves games. Not for bits of other games and so on. We'd literally have to have sub 20K attendances for the rest of the season. Nothing else will do. We all know we will never get enough people behind it to get our attendances under 30K never mind 20K. The rest of the stuff will have no impact. I'm all for the creative thinking but he has us by the balls and always has done.
I like the tennis ball idea. But how about everyone prints off a logo on A4 saying "****e direct" and make into a paper airplane and throw them on the pitch.
aye but renewals on some of the price freeze deals are in January and I reckon a lot won't renew this time around.
