So many games this season where we’ve been winning by 1 goal and haven’t killed it off like we have in the past. I don’t think this’ll be the last time we see teams either equalise or turn the game on it’s head in the latter stages of games. In most matches this season we’ve rode our luck, and been caught out on a few occasions now. I don’t see anything changing as things stand.

I said at the start of the match thread, but I think our sole focus needs to be getting back into it again next year. We won’t win the Europa playing like we have this season, so domestic focus has to be our priority. many factors already this season that have made our start to the campaign a massive struggle, and it’ll only get worse as the winter period gets closer.
2-2 FT. Absolute dross free-kick from Eriksen and our Champions League campaign is probably over. The officials stitched up PSV against Inter on a similar decision to the Lloris red in the second group game. Looks like they've more than evened it up tonight, when you add it to the ridiculous offside. Need a bloody miracle to progress now and we've dominated two of the three games. Really bad game management and some questionable subs throughout.
The money is in from the group stages. Ditch the EL or commit to playing kids unless the entire squad is fully fit at the time.
We have thrown the CL campaign away...nothing to do with the oppo being superior...pathetic mentality. Kane needs to get subbed off FFS!
We’ve been on the receiving end of some really crappy refereeing displays this season, but our inability to either play well or see out/kill off games is what’s killing us. The refs are just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve just not been very good and it’s a miracle we’ve got 21 premier league points.
Bloody Lloris great as he was on Saturday he is costing us more matches than he is winning us - Strip him of them captaincy and sell him in the summer
If you can’t beat a team as average a PSV, you’re not good enough to progress from the group stage. What’s happened to us since last year I don’t know. But, let’s face it...we’re no better than average.
Absolutely appalling. Utterly brainless and they keep on doing it. Barring the group games last season, our away performances in Europe are a shambles. There's no excuse. They had that game won and the Milan one and they've thrown them away.
The thought of our mentally weak squad playing Sunday’s, after seeing every other clubs’ results from a Saturday is far from ideal. It’s just asking for more pressure, which we can’t deal with.
Don't think we have got a choice and nothing to do with squad depth...we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against Inter and tonight Lloris gets sent off and we go to pot.
It sounds like sour grapes but over many years I have watched this rubbish in European games, it's not surprising English clubs don't win as many Euro titles as they should. Tonight we have a game once again where the referee has more of an impact than either teams strikers. The standard of refereeing is appalling but I doubt it's going to change now. You can go back to the 1960's and the same thing was happening.
