Erm, this is a Premiership squabble and lower league small clubs are not invited. You go back to another season in the Chumpionship pal and try and avoid relegation back to your rightful level in the 3rd Tier.

    Cheers and all my love

Leeds belong in the Premier League, any true football fan with half a brain would realise and acknowledge that.

You do remember being relegated dont you that season? I'm sure mid table mediocrity would have been a far better option?

Allardyce would most likely have kept you up. His record is excellent at keeping small budget clubs like yours and Bolton in the EPL. Unlike Mary Poppins of course. He was excellent and his free flowing style very successful..................for us.

You keep dreaming that your crowd average will be 47,000 or 48,000.

Although I didn't think so at the time, relegation was the best thing that could of happened to us and 90% of geordies will tell you the same. We got rid of a lot of deadwood and have come back much stronger than we were before, with a real team spirit.

Whoops, thanks for reminding me that my opinion is invalid, I'd forgotten somehow.

Deepest apologies, and your logical arguments put forward in the original post can only be described as infallible.

Wonder if MackemsRule will post a cutting internet meme at me.

I actually agree with this but then why have you now sold the very players that gave you that team spirit? Barton; Nolan; Enrique and Carroll were exactly that. Are their replacements really that much better?

To annoy, confuse and infuriate. Job done me thinks.

Good of you to realise it. Now bugger of back to the lower leagues.

Go on, mention '73 too while you have the chance. Sunderland fans never mention '73.

I think Santon has potential to be almost as good as Enrique. Cabaye can be better than Nolan but not in goalscoring terms. Obertan is a totally different player to Barton so can't be compared. Overall I think we're stronger in every aspect except for goalscoring, which is a real worry. Sign a 15 goal striker and I would have been extremely confident of a top 10 finish, now I think it will be a similar season to last.
(Also, the emergence of Krul since a year ago is a huge plus point)

Finest day of my football supporting life. "I was there!" <ok>

More to the point why are you getting involved in a family squabble on the SUNDERLAND board?

Because I saw an objectionable point which I thought Cestria might elaborate on. Obviously I was wrong. Oh and last time I checked, not606 wasn't a Mackems-only forum - anyone is allowed to comment on any board.

1-0 to Newcastle, 1-0 to Brighton. I'm sure you hold that prestiged title at the moment.

Two football results make you a laughing stock now?

And not having your club run by people who clearly despise their own supporters?

    Ok thanks for that. <ok>

SAFC fans are far more handsome than the mong-looking mags as well - so there.
