The Ipswich forum has all but surrendered this match, that in itself makes me worried. They aren't too impressed by Pennington either so I'm guessing he will play a blinder and score the winning goal.

 

Its a pity we did not keep.him then bielsa could have coached to be a striker.

 

We failed miserably last game.last night the results went our way.can we just for once take advantage and get a win and move back up the table.
How many times last two seasons have we hoped and the team let us down.

Edit required i believe.we did not fail last night others did.we failed as i put in the last game we played.mine was just a straight forward question.

 

So tonight we play the bottom placed team, tonight we have a lot of our best players back, playing on a Wednesday night, chance to go top if we win.
The pessimist in me says that if ever there was a game we were definitely going to lose it was this one.

Fortunately the optimist and more realistic part me thinks we are going to tonk them tonight. I've been saying that someone is due a thrashing from us based on our dominance of games. Think this is the one. Think we will cause the sacking of the Ipswich manager

 

Think it will be a scrappy win. Hope we batter them and restore our confidence

 

I feel the same. Results last night really went our way and we need to back this up with a decent win and clean sheet. Considering they are bottom this is not much to ask of a team that has aspirations of a top two place. I will be mightily ****ed off if we don't achieve this tonight. Not sure if I can cope with keeping tabs on the score unless we get an early one or two.

 

There will be hell on here tonight if we don't win,and quite rightly so.IMHO

 

If we don't score in the first 5 mins the moaning will start

 

I will give them 20 minutes to score. If nothing by that point then I will go and hide behind the sofa until 90 minutes is up.

So conservative Doc, I remember so many commentators in the 70's and 80's constantly reminding me "that it only takes a second to score a goal" thus I would expect 19-0 in the first minute

 

I don't think we have necessarily dominated games. We've dominated possession but that's not the same thing because against Blackburn a lot of it was back to the defence or to BPF. Take nothing for granted in this division. Top drew with bottom last night. Bloody hell though, do I need a win to cheer me up!!!
