Wouldn’t be sad to see Hughes go. People saying he doesn’t know his best 11 but from what I have seen he has picked the players he wants to play and it only really changes biased on injuries.

Not really, I would play the same team as last Saturday but replace Mo with JWP so we have some threat from set pieces

Whoever you start with surely you would like to see a bit more of a new signing!

Is JWP good enough in open play though?

I believe so, works damn hard and give Cedric cover too. Mo has been given a run in the team to try and get him settled and up to speed but this is a real 6 pointer and need to deliver so no chances, play JWP

I agree. He has actually played quite well at RB IIRC, so could be cover for Cedric, but would definitely slot in the RM position. He doesn’t set the pitch on fire in open play, but his corners and free kicks alone justify his selection l

It is like the 'playing Gabbi with another striker' question that was left hanging for a while. We need to try different stuff in action to see what works

On that same note I still want to see Stuart, but happy for him to be a sub for a while and see what he can do

On the basis that we are playing a much more entertaining style of football I would be surprised in Hughes was sacked this early in the season. If a long term target for manager became available and was keen to do it, then maybe. But as a knee jerk, this early, no.

'Much more entertaining' shows just how bad Pellegrino was doesn't it?
