This thread will gather haters by the dozen.

I’m defo buying RDR 2, only dilemma is whether to buy Xbox One X as well to truly appreciate it.

My parents are visiting this weekend so I guess I won’t be seeing much of the game until next week.

Fallout 4 was probably higher up the list than RDR for me, and that was good. Loads of people didn’t rate it but I thought it was class.

I still play Skyrim now.

Yeah they generally get the better press. The Sony head bods seem more ****y though with cross platform stuff etc. If you end up choosing Xbox let me know and I’ll send you some games.

To be honest mate it hadn't even crossed my mind as I just naturally gravitated towards a PS4, might be worth a look thinking about it.

I won't be able to play with anyone on PS4 with an Xbox online though will I?

I liked Fallout and wasn't really bothered by RDR2 until I'd seen vids and read about it, now I can't wait it looks brilliant.

Skyrim it's my all time favourite going to take a great game to best that.

There is more and more talk of cross platform becoming normal, I think there’s a few already. Xbox online experience is much more friendly and rewarding, PS head bods tend to get shoved into corners before accepting they have to allow certain things on PS4.

Xbox mods in Skyrim for example, there’s hundreds but PS4 originally went for none and eventually settled for about 6. Not a major thing if you’re not into that sort of thing and just want to **** at Lara Croft.

I’d agree, even the next elder scrolls will be **** by comparison.

I don't know if I'll bother with any online stuff but just wondering in case cos most of my mates have PS4. GTA V is the only game I've ever played online, and even that was only good with my pals.

Will I carry achievements over and use the same Sony log in thing if I go for PS4?

Xbox does look a bit cheaper mind, CEX sell them for the mark.

The thing is, I don't know how much it will even get used so am probably overthinking it, more than likely is I'll play RDR2 up until Christmas and then it won't get touched until the next GTA comes out.

Just go with PS4 mate if ya mates are all on there. Your PS account can be ported from 3 to 4 easily enough.

I rarely play on mine tbf, but hopefully I’ll get a few hours here and there for RDR.
